Top of the Cone x Blazzin Bunz — Restaurant in Northville Charter Township

This review isn't about the product but the service. My son and I walked up to what "used to be the entrance" and it was locked. No signs or anything mentioning the walk up window in front (which we noticed later). We go to the drive through and in the process noticed all kinds of people coming and going through the rear utility door. We pulled up to the window and there was a crowd inside. Started to give our order to the person at the window and may as well have been talking to the wall. They kept turning around and talking to others in the room, literally turned their back on us. We get back to the order and it as obvious they were trying to listen to the other conversation because I was giving the information of our order with no acknowledgement except a blank stare!! Then the price was wrong in their favor and I corrected it only to get the same blank stare. My son looked at me and said "look at it this way dad...it's easier because it's one less ice cream place to have to consider...

Interesting that you keep deleting my review and blocking me on your social media accounts. I have yet to receive an apology or a response from the owner about my experience.

I’ve been a customer of Top of the Cone for years. Apparently they changed ownership some time ago, which is quite unfortunate. Tonight at the drive through, I overheard one of the adult workers mock me with a racist, nonsensical “Asian” accent. When I confronted him, he said he was only goofing off with his coworkers, a younger man and woman.

I am disgusted that anyone would treat a paying customer this way. Sorry, bro, it must suck to work at an ice cream shop at your ripe old age. Racism has no place in my community. I love that the owner’s family and friends are inflating their rating with...

I have been supporting Top of the Cone for years. Their ice cream choices were always high quality. They always gave people a wide range of choices between soft serve and scooped ice cream. Only ice cream store in the area to do that. Under the new ownership I’m very disappointed. I have not had any food there yet, but they brought in Hershey ice cream which is sub par and have eliminated all the wonderful flavors and much higher quality of Ashby’s Sterling ice cream. They have kept some Guernsey ice cream which is good. So rather than supporting Michigan based dairies like Guernsey and Ashby’s they went with corporate Hersheys.
