Greek Tony's Pizza & Sub Shop — Restaurant in Norton Shores

I have spent an inordinate amount of time and energy trying to get a hold of the owner, Bill, or any manager for that matter, to no avail, so here's my review below:

Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and chicken wings for delivery. When the food arrived, I received dry plain chicken wings. I called the store and let the person on the phone know that I just received my wings with nothing on them, no dipping sauce, nothing. He explained that "the guy who answered the phone said you didn't tell him what sauce, so if you don't say anything then you get them plain". I was surprised since I have never ordered these before so didn't know what their process was when ordering wings. I let him know that no one asked me. He then said, very carelessly "well he's new, sorry, well ask you next time". Then silence. I then asked for a manager, and he said "it's me". I told him that I was surprised that he was the manager and that's his response for this food I received that looked less than appetizing. I explained that these wings were expensive for something I wasn't going to eat. As I was talking, he started yelling over me, when I stopped talking, all I could hear was background noise, then he said "okay I'm back". I asked him why he would put the phone down in the middle of me talking. He then raised his voice and said "I told you multiple times I had to check the oven. Listen, there's nothing I can do for you." Then hung up on me.

I called back and he asked to put me on hold, and I said "No, someone just hung up on me", he then raised his voice again and said "I already told you there's nothing I can do" then started yelling "I have to check the oven, I have to check the oven." I then told him I wanted a refund for the chicken. He laughed and said "I can't do that" and set the phone down, and never came back. After awhile, I hung up. I called back, but at that point, they wouldn't answer my calls.

I ended up calling another location to let them know what happened and they advised me to call the next day and ask for the owner, Bill. Well I called today, and of course, no manager at the facility. I ended up calling the other location and asking them to give Bill a message, and they said they would "try." Well, no Bill to date. But, I'm not convinced this would be out of the ordinary to him.

It should not be that hard to get a manager on the phone who takes pride in their job and isn't playing games with customers. It's very apparent that that place is run by kids. Based on all other reviews, the kids working here are allowed to treat people like garbage, and they get away with it. So order at your own risk. This is EXACTLY what you will deal with if there are any issues with the food, or you are missing anything. With the way they were behaving, I am surprised that I actually got my food.

The food is nothing to write home about, so ultimately no loss to me, but I'd recommend you go somewhere else for a pizza, and...

We had a pizza, sub and salad delivered and they put the wrong toppings on the pizza. My son said he would buy the pizza from us, so we told Tony's that we needed the correct pizza delivered. We were willing to pay for aforementioned pizza and 2nd pizza, but not a 2nd delivery charge and tip. We had just paid nearly $7. But, the manager said they weren't willing to do this. So, we said we would just bring back the messed up pizza and they said we couldn't do that either! Unbelievable! They screwed up & were completely uncooperative! The last couple of times I ordered from this place the pizza was cold and cheese along with toppings fell right off. Pizza recipe and crust also tasted different.
