I will preface this by saying I have reviewed over 100 Asian restaurants, and I've eaten at a lot more. This restaurant just opened and gave me one of the best first impressions that I have had. Their menu takes the best of "American style" Chinese food and "authentic Chinese" food. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and chefs. The chefs have won awards in NYC for their cooking. You could taste that the food was a work of art for them. Everything is made in-house. You can watch the award winning chef make dumplings. Let me back up. The interior has nice Asian decor that makes it a cozy spot to eat. The bar almost looks Polynesian. It is very inviting. There's a separate dining room with booths and tables. My waitress was extremely friendly and helpful to the point she made sure that I knew how to pick up my absolutely delicious soup dumplings. When I ordered wings, she gave me a choice of breaded or un-breaded. Places never ask. At Chinese restaurants, I prefer un-breaded. They were crispy, juicy, and delicious. The Hot and Sour Soup was delicious and hot enough to clear your sinuses. There might have been smoke coming out of my ears. I love my meat at Chinese restaurants. With that said, I had eggplant in a garlic sauce. It was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The boneless spareribs with a homemade sauce were delicious. I got seafood filled pastries from the dim sum section of the menu that was mouth watering. I tried an assortment of dumplings that were just hand-made. They were second to none. As a foodie, I've fallen in love with this restaurant. This is the real deal and has something for everyone. You can eat what you know, or you can decide to be adventurous. Their spicy is spicy. Their flavors are complex. Their staff are very friendly. For quality, flavor, menu selections, and overall value, this is on my list of favorite restaurants. Go check them out! Seriously, if you remotely like eggplant, get the eggplant and garlic. After I finish this review, I might have to ravage...
Read moreWe just picked it off a Google search and the menu online looked great. 2025-01-14: We went around 7pm. We ordered Jasmine Tea, Steamed Soup Dumplings, Taiwan Braised Beef Noodle, Eggplant in garlic sauce. The dumplings were fantastic and perfectly cooked with a nice semi-crispy outside and juicy inside. This were perfectly cooked and presented perfectly. The eggplant was out of this world mouth watering delicious. My mouth is watering now just thinking about it. It was like a explosion of deliciousness in your mouth. The eggplant was delicately crispy on the outside and tender inside all in a amazing sauce...my only criticism is they could save by using a little less sauce because you are left with a good amount on the plate. The extra sauce would go great over white rice which they did provide with our order. The Taiwanese Braised Noodles is a soup that has a flavorful broth, vegetables, and the beef melts in your mouth. The servers and staff couldn't be nicer. They were very polite and professional and happy to explain any of the menu items. The atmosphere could use a little dimmer lighting, not dark, but as it is it's fine but it would be a little cozier of the brightness was turned down a little bit. In closing I can't recommend them more highly. My partner is of Asian ancestry born and raised and he was equally impressed. The only way you can achieve this quality is to make everything as fresh as possible. I believe their hi standards and attention to detail makes this level of food possible. They made us feel welcomed and we're very kind. We are...
Read moreThis place stands out from the other Chinese places in the area. They make authentic Chinese food, and they do it very well.
Normally, I have to drive some distance before finding an authentic Chinese food place worth mentioning. This nee place is a huge upgrade from the place that was in the same location before them.
I came here with my wife and two daughters for dinner. The place is simple and clean with modern feel.
We ordered some of our favorites that we normally judge an authentic place by… soup dumplings, scallion pancake wrap with beef and cilantro inside, some spicy beef, dried spicy fish, beef noodle soup, and the stirfried eggplant.
Service was great from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly.
Soup dumplings, scallion pancake with beef and stirfried eggplant - all may be the best I’ve ever had.
The dried spicy fish is on par with other places that I felt were very good.
Noodle soup, I liked the broth and the beef, my kids thought the broth was too rich.
My wife ordered the spicy beef. It is good, but not my style. (My wife liked it a lot)
In conclusion, if you like authentic Chinese food - this place is worth your time. (I wish I took some pictures this time, but I will try to...
