They donât honor their gift cards. Poorly worded menu, unpleasant staff, overpriced, small portioned sub par food. Took our family of 7. In total spent around $150. My sister in law used to like this place so I drove the 45 minutes from home to buy her a gift card as a present. Saturday was the THIRD time she attempted to use it. First two times their machine was down and couldnât read the card. This last time the cashier, Leah, looked my sil dead in the face and said thereâs no money on this card. My sil looked it up on the website on the back of the card and sure enough the money is on it. My sil showed Leah who said well, thereâs nothing I can do about it. I was breastfeeding my infant in the car while this was going on and my hubby text a pic of their menu. Iâll attach pic. On the bottom it shows 3 street tacos and says pick your meat. Then it shows the 3 price points for the different types of meat on your taco. I told him three of the options at the $12 price point. Leah told my husband you canât mix and match. I came in 20 minutes later. The fam had just gotten food. Hubby handed me mine and told me they wouldnât honor what the menu says a bc that you can only choose one type of meat. So I looked at it. Three tiny tacos with crushed up chicken bits and hunks of onion and a couple leaves of cilantro. I gave it back and got a refund. Breastfeeding momma who hadnât eaten all day but I wasnât paying for attitude or gross food. The last time we had been there it wasnât good and we ended up at the Chinese place next door. The only reason we went back is we had been in the neighborhood and my sil had the gift card I had given her. This was our last visit. This place used to be good. Also I tried hubbys left overs later. I had to open a Walmart fiesta salad to add toppings to...
Read moreIt's unfortunate that I have to leave a 1 star! I hate to do it because the tacos are pretty good(although pricey) if they can get the order right . So We've order here quite a few times and they can't seem to make the orders right much. This time was the last straw! After getting home to find a missing taco and the wrong sauce on two of the tacos , we called and were told they would replace the order, but she needed to tell the kitchen, then the "manager" got on the phone stated he made the tacos and they were definitely made right they weren't refunding or remaking any tacos but the missing one we could come pickup in person, the taco or the refund only in person all with a really snippy and terribly bad attitude and tone! So we asked specifically if we could do the refund for the single missing taco over the phone and again with a bad attitude were told no. So I loaded up the two toddlers and drove the 11 minutes and unloaded them went in for them to give me a refund, Without needing my card and telling me this could have been handled over the phone but the bad attitude manager was so bent on proving himself superior that he wouldn't do that!
So I understand mistakes happen from time to time but the way it was handled is and the consistency of mistakes is unacceptable. Unfortunately that manager wasn't there when I went back but he should probably stay in the kitchen and have minimal interaction with people if that's the way he treats everyone!
I feel this is worth mentioning I've been there a few separate times that their google hours say they should be open to find they...
Read moreI placed a pickup order through their online service to get ASAP. The order was placed at about 12:20. I had assumed that after putting in my card information and submitting my order, it would still be ready ASAP but instead, after I pay, the screen says my order will be complete at 1:30. I was taking a class and had a 30 minute lunch break so this wasnât going to work. When I got to the restaurant I asked if my order was ready and they initially said no, that it would be 10-15 minutes. After the girl at the counter (she was new) went to talk to the girl in the back, the girl in the back made a snide comment, âthat girl really canât wait 10 minutesâ. Looking at her, I addressed this and explained Iâm taking a class and donât have the time to wait, eat and make it back in time. I then asked for her to just refund me so I could go to the gas station quickly before I needed to return. The new girl and the girl from the back both were complaining about not being trained on how to refund people. After a few minutes I was told the refund was issued. I asked for a copy of the receipt stating I had been refunded and was told they did not know how to do that. I now have a charge on my debit card for lunch not received even after this ordeal. The new employee was not rude however the girl who cooks in the back was the least bit pleasant. If you plan to eat here, give yourself a lot of time and donât...
