McDonald's — Restaurant in Norwalk

I've been going to McDonald's when McDonald's was in it's early years. One of my favorite things was the French fry they were so fresh crisp and tasty. At that time the grease they use was different from what they used today. I only go to McDonald's now and then because the food is not as it used to taste, now I'm not saying the food taste bad because it doesn't. I'm only saying that the food taste different due to the way they cook it. It is more healthier for you, but for me it change the taste in the French Fry's. everyone knows McDonald's is a good place for the family to eat and it is an institution that everyone knows and enjoy the food. I still go to McDonald's once in awhile. I do enjoy the McFlurries, Quarter Pounders and a few other menu items but for the french fries, I found a different place that makes them like McDonald's used to. One thing I would like to add is McDonald's surprisingly don't do senior discounts like other fast food chains. McDonald I am a senior I've been a patron for many years, how nice it would be for you to show your appreciation to all senior citizens as you do for the children. This McDonald's is the worst one. If you walk in the service will always be horrible. I ordered a kids meal and got no BBQ sauce like I asked. Then the kids drink had no ice and half full. Like it was a side cup for an employee. Gross. I went recently and was pretty upset that one of the lady employees was so rude. When I was next to order she walked away and didn't want to take my order. I waited about 2-3 minutes before a guy realized I was standing there and he took my order. Then on top of it she calls my number and I go get it. I waked to the McDonald's by the way. She didn't ask if i needed anything. I needed a cup holder, so I asked her can I get a cup holder please. She kept her back towards me and didn't reply. So I looked over the counter to get a cup holder. Finally a guy said I will get it for you. Before I left I was rude to the lady and told her "if you can't work with certain people then you should look for another job". Clearly she can't handle certain people. I try to stay away from this McDonald's. Too bad it close to my house. It's sad to see that this McDonald's has gotten this bad. Even the toys and benches outside...

Listen im not one to leave bad reviews, i assume places have off days. But THIS LOCATION. Basically, expect to fight for attention at the counter from the one person they like to send out to front, always double check your WHOLE order, AND dont expect that they'll even have what you ordered in the first place! 🥹 super simple! No one is ever at the front counter to help with requests. Workers always seem too busy, leading to a build up of needy customers in front especially if its busy items are listed as in stock on the app and in store menu when they arent in stock, OR are unable to be made because something is cleaning. side eyeing the frappe machine being cleaned, which is great, but it cleans for HOURS last time I asked and this has happened to me multiple times. Just please disable items when theyre not actually available its not hard i work at a restaurant 😭😭🙏🙏 items are constantly forgotten or incorrect in our orders.
