Mr. Frosty's Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Norwalk

Big love for this ice cream place in Norwalk. I visit here whenever I go to CT. I only have tried scoop ice cream before. I didn’t notice they had this menu before. So this time, I tried the cravers.

I was craving for extremely sweet dessert! Ordered Marshmallow Fudge Crunch Craver and Caramel Cookie Craver. They are all taste soooooo good! Ice cream itself is not sweet but the sauce and the toppings are sweet. I should say the toppings are as good as their ice cream.

I was thinking that they should sell those baked goods. They actually bake the cookies in house and sell them!!!!! I looked through their menu just in case and found it out just now. I didn’t get a chance to read the entire menu when I was there because they have a long list. But now I know that I have more things to order when I go back. Must have their ice cream and also baked goodies - toffee caramel cookie!!

There is parking lot but only few cars can park. Otherwise, street parking is available. Cars move out pretty quick as people get their ice cream and leave. It should not too hard to find...

We’re having dinner at a nearby restaurant and saw a long line for this place. Had a lot of selections for everyone. Was happy to see they had dole whip, which was refreshing! Only complaint was we would have liked to have more strawberries, but overall a great treat. This is very family friendly and had seating areas and had 2 cashier windows. Not a lot of parking since it is located in a residential area, so you may have to park a bit down the road . Seems like a nice treat after along day at the beach! Noticed there was limited parking located in the back of the building. Overall nice little spot to get Ice cream for individuals, family, and friends. Very diverse crowd. Since it is so popular there will be a bit it a wait of 15 minutes or so depending on what you get. They’re nearby restaurants so you can grab a meal and drink prior to getting dessert. Really used to love Mr. Frostys (and came way too often haha) but I can't believe what happened on this last visit. Cold night, empty parking lot, no one else there. We pull in to park. I'm chatting with my brother as he is about to head around the corner to grab some take out dinner while I grab us ice cream for dessert. A manager (?) start yelling at us "you can't park there! where are you going!" I explain I'm coming to the Frostys but he just keeps yelling that we can't park in the parking lot. I'm totally confused at this point and he is literally YELLING the same thing over and over so I just move the car not wanting to fight...thinking back, to be fair, I could understand if it was a busy night with lots of customers needing parking spaces, but the place was absolutely empty! Why is this a fight managers want to pick? Especially as I explained I AM a paying customer...really disappointed with how they handled the situation. Won't be...
