Overton's Seafood — Restaurant in Norwalk

Beautiful waterfront deck. Food was extremely disappointing. Low quality ingredients, especially veggies and bread. All of the seafood had more batter than anything else, and while the batter was tasty, that's all you tasted. This seafood shack positions itself as the value/casual arm of Harbor Lights, but their prices are massively inflated for the quality of the food. Food quality needs to improve or prices need to drop for this place to make sense. Do not plan to return unless this happens.

Additionally, they are extremely rude and aggressive about their parking arrangements. Would rather park elsewhere than be harassed by staff and threatened with a Barnacle/boot because they thought we left...

Directly on the water overlooking the harbor, tons of parking, super friendly staff, fast service, amazing lobster rolls with fries or rings (we got both), free ice cream with the rolls, and an overall charm that has to be experienced first hand to truly appreciate. I love this place and worked for the family at station house, harbor lights, and overtons many years ago. They go above and beyond and get the best quality food. The cod sandwich and lobster roll is amazing and huge! They have the cleanest kitchens out of any restaurants I worked in and everything is dated even the walk in! They also kept all the recipes the same from the first owner Mr. Overton out of respect! They treat there staff and customers with respect too! Someone comes in every day and hand breads everything!
