A ray of culinarily takeout hope for me since moving from Uptown Manhattan. Their tacos are incredible- meat cooked perfectly-always wrapped in double tortillas-veggie toppings are fresh-their green (mild) and red (semi hot) salsas are tasty (so much so I’d buy them by jars). We usually get the Holy Trinity of tacos - carne (beef), leagua (tongue- very soft/never dry) and chorizo (on point -never has that boiled texture you find in other taco places). Their shrimp tacos are also in excellent and very well seasoned without them skimping on the shrimp. Wish they had nopalitos or nopale tacos on the menu for those of us who cleanse/Lent. Most of the time I order by phone and the service is always courteous, estimated prep time is correct, my order is packaged neatly and they never got my order wrong. There’s a tip jar by the window when you pick up your order and because the food is so delicious and affordable and because these guys work hard, provide great ingredients and service- make sure to give thanks by tipping (if you’re financially able, of...

9.11.18 I ordered a “bean burrito” on my way home I bit into a “beef burrito.” I brought it back and told them what happened. A young man and older woman told me more than four times that I should have said “veggie burrito.” I was told to wait two minutes. As I waited I noticed the lady calling out orders and saying thank you and good night in their native language. When my order was ready, I was given my to go plate without a bag. I had to ask for a bag. I mentioned that the customer service was not good. I told the young man who prepared my “bean burrito” that I hope he doesn’t treat other people like they did to me. He went to the side of the truck. I told him I didn’t get an apology for the mistake they made. I mentioned if the lady didn’t understand my order she should have said so. I also mentioned that everyone is being told “good night” and not me. If it was anyone else they would’ve never received the poor treatment of being corrected for a mistake that they clearly made. I said “bean” eloquently not “beef.” Not cool at all. I will never go back...

I would leave negative stars if possible. My lady and I were in the area, she wanted a quick bite and so she got food at the truck and paid with her card. They took the card, charged us for the food, and we left. If that’s where the story ended, this would be a 4-5 star review. However, that’s not where the story ended. The card that was used to pay for the food was SCAMMED. They must’ve taken a picture of the card or wrote the numbers down, because shortly after, there was an unidentified online charge for $1,800….eighteen-HUNDRED dollars… It gets better. They even made a DUPLICATE CARD and tried to use it locally for $10. Luckily, the bank disputed the charge and confirmed there was fraud. How the hell did we come for a $10 meal and leave with an 1800$ charge on the card? I swear, honest business are so hard to come by and this is NOT one of them. DO NOT PAY WITH A CARD HERE!!!

Legal action is...

This place is two good trucks that are joined together and they produce probably the best tacos in Connecticut, they are even good compared to LA street tacos. We got the pescado, an asada, el pastor, a veggie and a chorizo and an asada burrito. The pescado was very tasty, the veggie was moist and flavorful, the pastor was good, the asada taco and chorizo can easily be skipped they were both dry and not easy to really get the flavor out of. The burrito was tasty as well and a good mix of ingredients. The one thing is that they pile up the onions and cilantro so make sure you order your food without them if you don't like them.

We stop here on our way to New Hampshire. Since most of the reviews were good. But unfortunately, I would recommend it. Let me start by saying I'm Hispanic and grew up across the Mexican border. These burritos are not even 1% Mexican. I understand these are tex mex but they are horrible. First, they are back beans with a lot of cheese I order at least 7, and two were burned. I can't speak about the tacos but bean burritos for just HORRIBLE!!!
