Sun Wok — Restaurant in Norwalk

I must say they did not want to answer the phone the first few times I've called on my cellphone. So I improvised and downloaded the TextNow App, I'm already skeptical about the place from that experience alone but I was hungry. Long story short... I got food poisoned from a simple order such as a "Half chicken, pork fired rice". How do you possibly get food poisoning from that type of order you may ask? Well for starters, The rice tasted supper salty like they purposely put extra soy into the rice before putting in the take out container, There wasn't a lot of chicken and I don't eat my chicken like normal people do I literally cut it up into pretty pieces and eat the pieces I think look good to me and still got me sick 🤢😷

Please comment and let me know what you think because I know I can't be the only one experiencing this with 'sun wok'.

PPS: The egg rolls were OKAY but they're way too greasy. That's all 'sun wok' gets from me. Take care of...

I ordered 3 order of chicken and broccoli with fried rice for delivery. When the order came it was wrong. We called back and said what was wrong with the order, and they said "we will sent someone with the fried rice". An hour and a half later we still haven't gotten the order, we called back and the lady said "oh yea we are not sending it because you didn't order fried rice". Keep in mind we were waiting for almost 2 hours and we had kids that were starving, and all this lady had to say was that she wasn't sending it. And she said "I wasn't gonna call you guys back im too busy working the front". Isn't that what you should be doing?? We even said we would pay for the difference and she kept saying she wasn't gonna do anything about it. And on top of that we got disrespected, after we said this is unprofessional she said "are you done complaining". Never order food from here unless you like to be lied to and...

I donno whee id be with out Sun Wok everytime i crave good Chinese food this is my NOW goo to place for the last 5 years. Im a pickey eater and my childhood fav Chinese take out for some reason stopped listening to my requests on frying my wontons lighty. I like them chewy and soft with a little crispy crunch at the end of each bite. So i had to find a new spot and since i moved 5 years ago Sun Wok makes the taste buds Rock! Friendly atmosphere respectful and Busy! Their prices are decent as well. I like their fryed chicken wings and PFrice appetizer and chick and broccoli and chicken and string beans iin garlic sauce wiith cashews or water chestnuts. Cant go wrong here.
