Panic Room - Norwalk — Attraction in Norwalk

Very disappointing and would not recommend. About 8-10 minutes into the game we began to get incessant, non-stop clues that we did not ask for. I actually, multiple times, requested that they stop giving us clues and they did not. No sooner would we open a lock then they would put instructions on the screen telling us what to do next. Over and over and over. We finished the room in less than 32 minutes because we literally weren’t given the opportunity to play. It was incredibly clear to us that the employee giving the clues was rushing us out so they could go home. It was rude behavior and the experience was 1000% not worth the $200+ that it cost us to play. We’ve played so many escape rooms at other places and this was the worst experience we’ve ever had. I’ve also emailed Panic Room to tell them of our experience and had no response, so don’t expect that anyone cares about your experience. Save your money and go to one of the other many escape room places...

Don't go if there is another group with children. I am dropping from what would have been a 5 star experience to 3 stars because we could have simply used another room. They wanted to get the most out of one room by booking my fiance and her son (14) with another couple and 4 kids ranging from 8-12. It was like herding cats, the 3 of us couldn't get involved with any puzzle solving because the 4 children were all over the room, jumping from puzzle to puzzle, using the only writing tablet, and the parents were jumping around too. It was chaos. I wouldn't want to call the $100 a waste because the time gave you an idea of how the game works, but for the experience we had, it shouldn't have cost us more than...

We did the Last Resort. It was a really great room, challenging but doable (we got out!). The staff was friendly and helpful. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because we were put in a room with other people we didn’t know (and not notified about it until we got there). They they were a nice group and easy to work with, however, I went with my family and we wanted it to be just us. Our 10 year old daughter was frustrated that she didn’t get to participate as much as she would have if it had been just our family. My advice is to call ahead if you want to make sure it’s just your group and no one added. Otherwise, great...
