At one point in every persons life who visits breweries you reach the “crossroad”, that moment is defined by two food trucks options, 6 beers in rather rapid succession, and the aroma of food coming from both of those food trucks. Once the crossroad is reached a choice must be made, this is how I made my choice.
This Labor Day weekend I stoped at space cat for a few of my favorite beers. I grew hungry after enjoying the company and knew I needed to get food. Once I walked to the front of the brewery I was challenged with the choice of 2 food truck options, one being Pizza and the other being Burgers (Whistleville Grille) Now this choice wasn’t easy due to pizza being my favorite food, but I am happy I followed my heart.
The vibe of the whistleville Grille is what first drove me to it. Great people working the truck, beautiful aesthetic with some plants in the front, it gave a homey vibe that immediately sucked me in. I order the Whistleville Burger which has their secret sauce and an order of french fries. The Fries were cooked perfectly, they had just the right amount of crispiness and the frying oil tasted extremely fresh, the burger was also the exact cooking temperature I seek out in a burger and I’m not sure what’s in the secret sauce but I have a feeling Plankton might be coming to steal it soon. I ended up going back and order another burger and fires because I thought it was a fluke, and it came out just like my first order.
With that being said, when you find yourself at the “Crossroads” and Whistleville Grille is an option, you’d be a fool to miss out on the opportunity. I will be coming back as often as I can and am so happy to have had such an amazing experience that it made me feel like I had to...
Read moreThank you, Whistleville Grille, for making my night at Spacecat more delightful. I am not a beer drinker, but I am pleased I went to meet up with my friends since I was able to spend time with them while also trying some great burgers that impressed me because they were served on a food truck and outside of a brewery. The staff was polite and patient, the wait time was short, and the Whistleville burger (which I ordered) was on fire! Super delicious, well seasoned, and served with their secret sauce; It struck the spot! I also had their fries, which were very fantastic. They were truly prepared, not reheated, as many places do nowadays, and were semi-grispy with a hint of salt. Overall, I would highly recommend trying Whistleville Grille for yourself, or if you want to visit a brewery that serves food, you must go here. I will definitely be going back when I'm...
