Crystal Theatre — Attraction in Norwalk

We simply can’t say enough about our extraordinary experience at Crystal Theatre. Our daughters attended summer camp and continued on through “Land of the Midnight Sun” shortly after. The schedule and expectations were always clear, the roles were well cast, and the scripts themselves, written by Cheryl, always communicated an uplifting and appropriate message for kids. We loved that the costumes were created and housed by the group as well, there was never a frenzy for finding this kind of shirt or that kind of shoe, because it was all so well coordinated. Our girls learned to be a part of something positive where they were neither center of the world nor feeling like an irrelevant side piece, the “air time” for all of the kids was so reasonable. They gave their absolute best and enjoyed doing so because they saw the passion and commitment that came from the leadership. The girls grew tremendously both on and off the stage, they can express themselves so much better in public, and I attribute all of that to the program. We are very thankful for this structured and fun experience, and we look forward to enrolling our girls again...

Land of the Midnight Sun was a magnificently stellar production. The staff really know how to provide the actors with a fun experience they'll want to return to, combined with the cultivation of a theatre work ethic that can be applied to all areas of life. Working purposefully together while having a great time. An original Crystal Theatre production, Land of the Midnight Sun tells the story of the transformative powers of love and courage through captivating scenes of humor, drama, adventure, music, and dance. My 7-year-old daughter attended two weeks of camp at the Crystal Theatre this summer. Both weeks of camp were very different experiences but equally fantastic. My daughter was excited to go every single day which is not typically the case with other camps she has done during the summer. She usually begs for a day off at some point during the week.
