It is close to 5 stars for a reason, it is delicious! THE best Chinese restaurant I have been to in Cali. I am from another state, and the Chinese food here... It is just not the same. This is just like home. I love the beef and broccoli . I have tried the beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, orange chicken, egg drop soup, cream cheese wonton, egg roll, and the fried shrimp. The beef and broccoli is out of this world, seriously, you have to try it. Broccoli isn't to crunchy, nor mush, and the beef is so tender. It seriously comes in so much tasty sauce! Can upgrade to fried rice for a small fee. The let you customize even, or at least they did when asked. I was able to get my egg drop soup plain (no tofu or veg) and they were even nice enough to swap my fried shrimp for a few cream cheese wontons. The cream cheese wontons have a touch of sweetness which is the best in my opinion. I wasn't a huge fan of the fried shrimp, and the orange chicken was a little on the sweet side.. (I prefer spicy). However, I can see why everyone else recommendeds it. The beef and broccoli was just sooooo good though. The family A dinner come with a big entree, 2 cream cheese wontons, an egg roll, 1 fried shrimp, and egg drop soup. It is worth it! All that food is enough for two, but you won't want to share, you will want to double up. The staff is always kind, they are quick, and they have never messed up my order. Very consistent! The chef is awesome and I would recommend this to anyone still on the hunt for a great chinese place! Only the buffets compare, but they arent nearly as clean! I have been here a few times, and really don't ever plan on going anywhere else. (Pictures vary, as they are from the last few times...
Read moreHas to be hands down the best Chinese food here in Norwalk. I was a bit skeptical since I'm not sure how new this place it and it has a solid 5 stars at the time of this review. I decided to order from here and having no idea how much they serve I ordered what I thought was enough for 3 ppl and to my surprise it was enough for at least 5. All I ordered was orange chicken, chicken fried rice and Kung pao chicken. I was not ready, for the amount of it. I'm more used to places where you have the items as a side not a full plate/bowl. Besides that everything was fantastic, the orange chicken was not drenched or soaked in the sauce, it was pretty much glazed a couple of times over. It was a good layer of orange chicken sauce. The Kung pao was the same, it was even amount of chicken and veggies and not drenched in the sauce. The fried rice was also great, not soggy or hard or was just perfect and veggie/egg/chicken ratio was perfect, not sure how else to explain this. Above all the chicken in all plates was nice and tender. The place is Fantastic, I hope as more people try this place, that this place doesn't lose...
Read moreThe food is amazing and we are regular customers but one of the older ladies that worked on this Sunday 12/04/22 in the afternoon is very stingy with the hot sauce. All other workers are nice and give us enough condiments. We spent 60 dollars on food to feed a family of 7 and she was only giving us 2 hot sauces. We asked for extra and she said that we had enough already.
I told her that we are spending 60 dollars of food here, a hot sauce per family member is the least you can do. She said "60 dollars? That's nothing." She gave us 3 more hot suaces and made it seem like we were ripping her off. I didn't want to fight with the lady so I left it at that.
This is exactly how you lose customers and eventually lose your business. It's sad because the food is really good but this lady is willing to throw away their clientele over hot sauce. We live down the street from them and buy once a week from them. We might need to find another Chinese food spot with better customer service for their regulars. Hopefully the owner of this spot reads this and educates that worker on...
