On Rye Deli — Restaurant in Norwell

I moved to Norwell 21 years ago and this shop was the best of the best. I really loved it. Sadly, It kind of slipped my mind over the years, mostly due to diet restrictions. Fast forward 15 years or so. Hunger prevailed one day, and I wanted to treat myself by paying another visit. Amazing. So happy it’s still here offering the best sandwiches in Massachusetts. If you’re a BLT lover, order one on their scallie bread. The chicken noodle soup is a brothy forward version of grandma’s vs. the thickened pre-made soups served elsewhere. I honestly can’t say enough great things about On Rye Deli. I called just a couple of days ahead to place an order for 50 Thanksgiving sandwiches, and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. They made the process so easy and were incredibly accommodating. The sandwiches were to die for—my office absolutely raved about them!

If you’re in the area, this place is a MUST TRY. The staff is so friendly, and everything was beautifully organized. Thank you again—this meant more than you know, especially when you’re trying to please a big group. You made it easy!

Had an office of executives meeting at our company recently. Contracted with Kathy to provide numerous sandwiches, baked goods and chips delivered on multiple days. The process was seamless and well executed. The food was excellent and the sandwiches were fresh with good quality ingredients. Everything was laid out on platters for easy display as well as sides of mayo, mustard, pickles and all the serving items needed. Delivery was prompt each day.
