Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Norwich Township

We have been longtime fans of good pizza such as is offered by Jets. We moved this summer from Sunbury OH to Hilliard and started using the Hilliard location Jet's pizza. If you read nothing more from this posting, just read this. We will no longer be ordering Jet's pizza from Hilliard. This is the reason why. We ordered around $60 worth at 7:00pm of pizza Friday night for us and some friends to enjoy. We understand Fridays are busy, and that a 45 minute wait was fair for good pizza. Well 8:45pm rolls around and the pizza still hadn't arrived. We proceeded to try to call Jets for 15 minutes and were only greeted by a busy signal. We finally contacted the store as we were about to leave to go to the store to complain about the service. They said their system had "crashed" and didn't have access to delivery addresses. Just as they said that the delivery person knocked on the door.....we then asked to speak to a manager to inquire as to why they said the delivery addresses were no accessible but the pizza had been delivered. We got hung up on. Chalking this up to being busy we took the pizza and let the driver go on about his business only to find out the pizza was cold. Not luke warm, cold. This was not acceptable. We took the cold pizza back to the shop and asked for fresh hot pizza, which they provided after the same excuses were provided about the system crashing, and they did comp the pizza. 15 minutes later we were provided with fresh hot pizza. This review does not stop here because we walked out to the car frustrated with the whole ordeal only to find we had been shorted one pizza. We ordered 5, and only got four. We walked back in to inquire about the missing pizza to find that they had just forgotten to give us the 5th pizza. Again, saying that I understand that Fridays are busy, and knowing that mistakes happen, we were given complimentary pizza, and that is great. I'm just pointing out that we placed the order at 7:00pm and didn't get back to eat with fresh pizza until after 10:00pm was not acceptable. I give it a star for the fact that once we got the pizza it was good, and complimentary. -1 star for saying that they didn't have access to delivery addressed when the driver actually showed up an hour late, -1 star for the manager hanging up on us, -1 star for flubbing up the order, and -1 star for us having to actually drive to pick up a delivery order. I should -1 more star for them not calling to warn us that they were running behind, but this review...

Ordered pizza on Saturday night for delivery at 6:15, they said it would be 2 hours on online order, we thought it was Saturday night so we would just wait. At 8:20 my wife got a message from door dash (the store had subcontracted our delivery) that the oven was down and our order was delayed. No further messages or response, nothing from the store. I called the store and spoke with the manager (Josh?) who told me they were out of dough and couldn’t make any pizzas…this was more than 2 hours after our order was placed. No attempt to reach us and when I asked why he said they were too busy to call customers…THEY DONT HAVE ANY DOUGH AND THE OVEN ISNT WORKING!! What are they doing that’s keeping them so busy they can’t call to say they can’t make food.

Never eat at Jets. The corporate offices automated system is as bad as the store….there’s no excuse…supremely bad management, now I get to wait 2 days for my card to be refunded. Not the first bad experience I’ve had here but you know it’ll...

I never leave reviews but I had such great service today from Jet's on Main that I had to share.

Got delivery this afternoon and was super satisfied. Not only was my pizza delivered in about 30 minutes but it was so hot I actually had to let it cool down a few! It was so fresh out of the oven, perfect crunch on the crust, piping bubbly cheese, and a great distribution of toppings. Also got a chocolate brownie that was nice and warm. Delivery guy was friendly too!

A fantastic lunch, I'll definitely be ordering from this place again--great to know we've got an awesome pizza joint like this one nearby. It's obvious that the crew over there takes pride in the product they're putting out, thanks to everyone for the high standards!
