What i liked: The set. Very creative and well done.
The orchestra. Did not play so loud you couldn't hear the voices. Good job!
The costumes ((see below for suggestions) The auditorium. Not a bad seat in the house.
Sound. The sound engineer did a great job.
Suggestions: A couple of the men probably should have spiffed up their shoes. They looked very dusty and everyone else's looked much cleaner.
Length of Act 1 seemed very long, which was 1.5 hours. I realize the dance numbers are included in the score, but I'd probably cut them for a total of 10 minutes. They were well done but just added extra time to the show.
Temperature: I attended Friday's performance. I was comfortable at first, but by the time intermission arrived, I was frozen. I brought a blanket in for the 2nd act. (Others were too cold also; it wasn't just me. )
Congratulations on the show and your thearer group's 50 years! I played Meg Brockie in 1976 with Millersport Community Theatre. Our 50 year anniversary is next year. Your Meg Brockie was absolutely...
Read moreStinky Cheeseman was hilarious! Great director, cast, and costumes! I really enjoyed the play and my little ones and I laughed a lot! What a great experience! I was taken aback leaving after overhearing one of the parents who I know has a child in the play and has been a part of other community activities with her child and is notorious for stirring the pot, complaining about the director. I did not want my children overbearing and tried moving them along quickly. The response the other women provided fortunately was disagreeing with her. She tried persisting yet they said their children were learning a lot and having fun, too. My oldest who did many plays with Mr. Goldsmith “Bill” in the past had nothing but great experiences. He is an educator and very well known in the theatre community. It was hard to hear this woman speak so negatively—especially so openly in front of...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the final performance this past Sunday and were it still running we'd probably go back and see it again. Seriously, that's how good this production was.
The performances, the set, the lighting, you name it - it all worked and it was all...
