Crave — Restaurant in Norwood

I'm a travelling businessman, and like finding the small local places in my overnights, and iCrave is a Middle Eastern gem worth trying for sure! I was met with a warm welcome, and the co-owner Sam was really polite and personable, and I enjoyed our conversation. I ordered the chicken shawerma bowl, and a side of grape leaves; first, the bowl was outstanding- I mean seriously the flavors just explode, the produce is fresh & crisp, the offset between the sliced potato & Crave sauce with the pickles & sumac were fantastic and the meat was perfect. I'm a big dude, and i like to eat, and the portion size was filling- but i could have suffered the bloat and eaten 2 just for the taste! The grape leaves i could eat like popcorn (and did..), homemade, the texture, filling, and taste was perfect! Crave recently opened in Norwood, so my fiancé and I came to check out the new family restaurant. The food was very delicious and the staff is very friendly and brought the food over to us. There is some seating that’s great for eating with a friend.

We ordered two plates; the beef plate and the falafel plate. The food was a lot and filled us up heartily. When we sat down, the owner came to us with their cultural desserts for us to try while we wait for our plates. We were saddened that they ran out of baklava, so the owner gave us a box of Lebanese cookies with money return. We felt very welcomed and loved!

Lastly, they have a fun wall filled with middleastern snacks for you to buy as well. Overall, we believe the food was the highlight of it all and the ingredients they used were authentic. It was filling and doesn’t make you feel hefty after...

From the moment I walked in, I was so impressed — the restaurant is spotless, beautifully organized, and immediately gives off a welcoming vibe. One of the owners greeted us, and he was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful (he even helped me pick a bowl for my mom at checkout!).

He explained how fresh the ingredients are and how everything is prepared, and I can absolutely confirm that’s true. I ordered the chicken Greek bowl, and every single bite was bursting with flavor and freshness. I couldn’t stop talking to my best friend about how good it was the entire time we were eating! It was so delicious that I grabbed another bowl to take home for my mom — and she loved it just as much.

The service, the quality, the freshness — everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly, highly recommend...
