ReMARKable Cleanouts — Local services in Norwood

The women who work there are great. All very lovely. They are all very helpful and kind. The owner is a different story. I was in there the other day and I was standing patiently waiting for him to finish with another customer because I had a question. When done, one of his workmen said something to him, and he walked away without even acknowledging me. If this was a one time occurance I wouldn't mind, but he's been rude to me on several occassions in the past. That day he and some other men were swearing away like nobody was around. Also, the store carries a lot of over overpriced junk. What few items they do have that are nice are overpriced. They have a lot of artwork but much of it is high on the walls so you can't look at it. The other artwork is stacked against the wall in the basement. It's almost impossible to look at any individual piece. To be fair, the store has received a lot of 5 star reviews, so the owner may have something against me personally, though I don't know why. Wow! Great team of 5 guys came and cleaned out my Dad's home. They worked non-stop from 9AM to 2PM and left the house sparkling clean - and took away 3 truckloads of furniture, household 'stuff', books and other things designated to donate, and bags of trash. The men were incredibly respectful of my Father's things- when they bumped into things they considered sentimental, they pointed them out to me. Reasonably priced - especially considering the labor hours they put in! They were simply awesome. I would hire them again...

For 15 years in multiple locations it was fun to shop at ReMarkable. Great variety of items and Mark was always ready to deal. Since moving to Main St it is a waste of time stopping by. Downstairs is complete junk and upstairs 90% of the items are things no one wants all at ebay prices +. A whole shelf of coffee mugs for $10/each, cases of depression glass and hummels says it all. Very sad and my visit last week was my last. Three stars for what was not for what...
