Very friendly and accommodating staff. Alma was a sweetheart and served me very kindly. Coffee was filled most times. Staff were efficient and I got my food very quick The food was fairly standard. Home fries were a bit overcooked and could use some seasoning and bacon was a little flimsy. Besides that, everything else was good Ambiance is quant and charming. It was very much a locally owned restaurant with a little single person bar in the back and a stainless steel ceiling which you don't see very often. You can almost imagine this spot back in the day. One thing I wish I got was the fresh squeezed orange juice! They had the machine going with the oranges and it looked very good

Food came quick, but wasn’t very tasty. managed to finish after a while. Eggs Benedict had a strange sour taste to it, and wasn’t salty at all. the English muffin was burnt. Home fries were a mixed bag, and some were decent, others had a weird taste. Watermelon slice was the only truly good part. OJ was good, but I wouldn’t have ordered if I’d known it was 4.99 (price was not displayed and I assumed it was maybe $3). I wouldn’t pay $5 for OJ even if mayor Wu or Obama personally hand squeezed it… not sure how all the people in the reviews have such tolerance for it Price was just shy of $20 after tip. Will not be back and would suggest going elsewhere.

I had a great 1st experience here on my birthday. I love that the place was ran by a husband and wife duo(I presume). Both very friendly, the food was good. I was recommended their fresh squeezed orange juice and once ordered, you can see the owner placing oranges into the juicer to make it fresh for each customers order(very nice touch). It was a bit hot in there and I knew ahead of time based on other reviews, but it was bearable. The day I went it was 85+ degrees outside, I cooled down the longer we sat in there. Family oriented and a very cute spot to have breakfast.

I was recommended Sunrise Breakfast by a friend, he had seen what I brought in for breakfast a while back, and told me about the other breakfast place in Norwood open at 6:00 AM for the hungry commuter.

This location is close to the commuter rail station and is located on a major road. Parking is generally easy to find early in the morning for a to-go order, so I recommend it for that reason alone. On to the food...

The omelette I ordered was packaged in styrofoam, along with the side of bacon and hash browns. The bill, with a coffee, was about $15. The quality of the food was good, tasty, and didn't require salt as a flavor, but I stead, the salt brought out the flavors locked into the Mexican omelette. It consisted of eggs, with onions, peppers, to atoes, mixed cheese and salsa on top.

I asked for no cheese or toast, and the omelette was.missong salsa, but the end result was tasty. The bacon was slightly sweet, salty, and had decent crisp. Hash browns were slightly larger than the tip of a thumb on average, and seasoned well.

Allergen-wise, this is a place that doesn't advertise gluten-free options on their menu, so be aware that it is a traditional eating establishment. Packaging was also plastic based and styrofoam based, so if you are looking to support sustainable business practice this isn't the place yet.

But, if I were to say one thing, I will be coming back here to get breakfast a few times, the bacon is...

Absolutely amazing service, beyond amazing food, everything is so subtely different from mainstream diners. You sit whereever you want and seat yourself. The orange juice is freshly squeezed by a machine right in front of your eyes. The bacon melted in your mouth, the coffee was great, largest portion of french toast that I've seen in any restaurant I've ever been to. As for the atmosphere, the setting feels very comfy and simple yet modern enough that I paid using my credit card on the owners iphone with a card reader. If it wasn't for me only being in town for a convention I'd easily call this my new saturday morning goto for breakfast! Would absolutely love to...
