My wife and I decided to have a lunch date but wanted to try something new in our area. The juicy crab was our pick. Man are we ever glad we agreed on it! The place looks amazing! I've eaten in this building for every business that's tried to make it since Azar's Big Boy closed. The juicy crab so far is the best since those days! The service is top notch! The food totally blew our minds it was so good! What we ordered was so much higher in flavor than what we expected that it didn't take but a second to say we'll definitely be back often! I had the crab, sausage combo, that also came with potatoes and a piece of corn on the cob. Alexis, my wife had the chicken, rice and vegetable lunch special. She compared the rice to the rice you get at Hani Yori. The vegetables were perfectly prepared. The chicken she said was juicy and well seasoned. Both of the dungeness and snow crab portions I had was large and very tender, juicy and perfect! The sausage and potatoes was abundant and again, perfectly seasoned. Heck, the piece of corn on the cob that came with it was great as well! Overall, our eating experience was way above our expectations, was pleasurable and quite filling! We both HIGHLY recommend you eat here. You won't be sorry! Oh I might add too, the music they play reminded me of the old club days when the DJ's beat didn't stop and was actually good mixed music.. not like the club music they throw at you today! Just try this place......
Read moreI went to Juicy Crab with hubs and another couple. The place was a nice casual setting with a couple great places for photo options - yes they promote FUN! The staff was Great! Very friendly, helpful, able to answer all our questions and very happy to take your groups photo. Our wait staff brought out complementary shrimp chips and they were different but good. My friend ordered the hush puppy app and everyone really liked them. Next she ordered the lobster bisk- again very tasty although I found it to be a little on the thin side. We all ordered combo boil bags for our mains. My hubs got b2 with Cajuns mild he was pleased but very impressed with the mussels..said they were the best he ever had and I would agree! I had T4 because I really wanted the lobster tale. I would not suggest spending the extra on it as it was very lack luster....small kinda dry and shriveled very difficult to get out of shell. The rest of my boil however was VERY good! The grab legs were flavorful and juicy ..the shrimp was very good and the crawfish had a pretty clean flavor ( I tend to find them to be muddy tasting.) and picked up the sauce flavors well. I had the Juicy combo of all three flavors: Cajun, lemon and garlic. All in all I would for sure recommend and I will go...
Read moreGood seafood restaurant, at least for the Midwest. Of course, due to global location and not the chefs themselves, this is not as good as coastal restaurants like this, as these need to be shipped, unlike the place I went in Florence Oregon where the Pacific was right outside the window. But food is prepared nice. Servers are sweet. Although somewhat questionable on certain levels (maybe somewhat biased from my mother's words as she hates seafood, unlike me who loves it.) Food is excellent. If you get a boil (it's a bag of seafood or sausage with potatoes and a big lump with knobs) it's messy and wear the gloves and bib the server gets for you. Juicy crab special (all flavors) and Cajun are also spicy. Garlic is my personal favorite flavor. Dad was a little mad about sandwich riddance, idgaf about it as I always get the boil. I'm sometimes sad about throwing away the clam shells though. The shells are pretty, brown and white bicolor. (My inner goblin just wanted to collect them). Thankfully this place existed after the closest McDonald's decided it would be a boring Starbucks wannabe and not nautical, maybe the decor came here? Shark in back is a little scary. He might be like a FNAF...
