Burger King — Restaurant in Oʻahu

I will start this review by saying I've always loved the whopper as my favorite fast food burger. The food is always good and the service is on par with other fast food restaurants. The 1-star rating is in regards to the PRICES of their food in HAWAII SPECIFICALLY. I think it's despicable that the franchise owners have decided to take advantage of the people of Hawaii by PRICE GOUGING them. I've lived in Hawaii my whole life and I've learned to live with the fact that there is a markup on anything and everything here. However it has never been anywhere near as EGREGIOUS as what Burger King Hawaii is doing currently. They are charging almost DOUBLE what the nationwide cost is. On top of that, the GREEDY FRANCHISE OWNERS choose not to participate in the BK app to further reduce access to any kind of "discount" so their profit margins can stay inflated. The Burger King national franchising office should revoke these franchise's ownership rights or at the very least step in and set limits to the percentage of increase...

I usually like this Burger King because everything I order is nice,fresh and hot but yesterday November 3,2022 at around 2:30 p.m. it was a different story. I came to the drive thru after my dialysis treatment to get some lunch and was happy with what I ordered until I got home and started to eat it. The large regular fries were overly salty and for some reason the chicken had the same overly salty taste. I paid $16.35 for my order and had to throw most of it away because it was just too salty. I won’t be going back to this Burger King but am disappointed because it’s so close to my home. By far, the worst Burger King I've ever been to. The first bad experience we chalked up to a fluke, the second too. Now that we've ordered from there at least 6-7 times and we've NEVER had a good meal from them, it's safe to say they are just terrible. The bread is always old and dry, the meat is never fresh, the fries are always cold and the service leaves something be desired. I don't know if maybe this particular franchise owner just takes food cost saving measures to an extreme or what, but the old, cold food is disgusting. I'd give zero out of 10 stars if that...
