This is like getting a tickle me Elmo from the back alley two blocks south from the early 2000’s. Unassuming, the owner came out to take orders of ten at a time, very aloha, very kind. First sandwich was served around 15 after, and the tenth was out at probably 22 after.

The size of these are crazy, photos do not give it justice. One sandwich was both enough, to fill me, and I wanted another just to snack on the rest of the day. Go spicy, it’s like mainland US spicy, not multicultural spicy, the flavor it adds is worth any heat also. If you really are not a “spice” person we heard someone say half and half, and he was okay with that.

The bun was lightly grilled, and lettuce and pickle, my approach to a chicken sandwich though not everyone’s. The fries were potato not sweet potato, no option, and the drink was water or passion fruit.

There is no seating, though there is parking to eat in your car, or a beer “garden” that has some options for seating a short drive away. Only open Saturday and Sunday, this place is worth the travel, the north shore is on the way from town, and the windward north shore is also beautiful.

The hours are not correct, he sometimes sells out over lunch, and sometimes more like 4pm, there are socials he posts photos and messaging. I’m not a follower, glad my friends are.

Thank you for ruining other chicken sandwiches, this was...

We were driving up towards the north shore and decided to swing into one of the food truck areas. Thank goodness we did this one, as we parked right next to this place. The owner explained that he sells 80 sandwiches and that's it for the day (and only Saturday/Sunday)...again lucky for us that we went on Sunday. This is by far the one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had (we got it spicy... It's not too spicy, but great flavor). They are huge sandwiches. The fresh cut fries were fantastic. The owner is super friendly and explains everything. He's very engaging and clearly loves making his sandwiches. He makes sure you have a great experience, regardless of how many customers he has. He would constantly check in on you to make sure everything was good. He made sure we saw him dipping the chicken in the hot sauce. He was like that with all his customers. If we were staying longer, we'd be going back again. If you can make it out that way, make sure to grab this sandwich. You will not be disappointed!! Sorry no photos as we ate everything up...

Only open on weekends from 12-sold out. As the name suggests, he only has 80 for the day, and when I went last time he was down to 45 left after about 45 minutes, so I doubt he stays there until 4. Don’t let the fries fool you, most of the box is the chicken fillet which is comically bigger than the bun. They serve one thing only, but come hungry and that $17 is worth it. Shareable if you aren’t too hungry. The meal consists of a drink, a sandwich (choice between unsauced and the choice to dunk it in a buffalo-type sauce), and fries with ketchup and blue cheese or ranch dip. 3-5/10 on a heat scale. More a medium than a hot buffalo, so you can definitely still taste the flavors and don’t have to worry about it being too hot. Although the wait is in the hot sun, since he only makes one thing, he is quick and efficient. Ensuring everything is hot and fresh, you can even see him dunk the chicken (magical). Definitely recommend, one of the best sandwiches I’ve had, and I am a chicken sandwich fiend. Owner is also very nice and I felt great...

My husband and I drove up the north shore to give the shrimp trucks a try… as we were leaving the owner Adam let us know that he had 7 of his 80th chicken sandwiches left. He promised, we would not be disappointed, cracked jokes with my husband as we were walking away. So, of course we had to give them a try. This was by far one of the best sandwiches we have ever eaten. The concept is genius 80 sandwiches for the day that’s it!! When they’re gone they’re gone. The best $17 spent hands down come with fries, drink and your choice of homemade blue cheese or ranch (that was fire) 🔥🔥. We did the spicy, got to see the dunk and all. Adam was very personable and I’m really glad we were able to connect. You’ve definitely made the ATL proud…. #eightychickensandwiches
