The Ahi was a true highlight. It was so incredibly fresh it felt like it had been swimming 20 minutes before it hit the plate. Every bite was clean, bright, and packed with ocean flavor. You don’t come across fish this pristine often, especially not at a food truck.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and they even offer a free roll once you hit a certain order amount—a nice bonus that adds real value to an already satisfying experience.

I do not recommend at all. Not once but twice they’ve gotten our order wrong! And we’ve waited over 45mins for two rolls. Don’t get me started about the portion size. They are super stingy with the products that go into their sushi! Very stingy with fish and rice! I make sushi for a living! another Kahuku resident gave them the opportunity and they said they had similar situation. And when I saw that they leave the rolls out in the sun. I’m conflicted. I’ve loved this place and they give great sushi with great portions for a great price. They also note that this is made to order, it is not fast food, so if you are looking for something quick, this probably isn’t your place. Last time I went here, I brought a friend with me who pointed out that our chef (who is also cashier) was not wearing any gloves … We watched her take two orders, interacted with customers and the card reader, then turned around and proceeded to roll the sushi with her bare hands 😬 definitely not in line with food handling and safety procedures. I really do love this place, but seeing that was kind of a turn off and something that needs be addressed...
