Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck & Smoothies – A Must-Stop Flavor Explosion on the North Shore

As we drove along the scenic Kamehameha Highway through Kahuku, the aroma and buzz around the famous Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck pulled us right in—and let me tell you, it absolutely lives up to the hype.

We ordered two plates of their legendary garlic shrimp with rice, and wow… we were blown away. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, drenched in buttery garlic goodness, and packed with flavor. Each plate came with generous portions—plenty to share with our family of four, and not a single bite was wasted.

Right next to the shrimp truck was Giovanni’s Smoothies and Shave Ice Truck, and we couldn’t resist cooling off with a couple of their refreshing smoothies. We chose: • Coconut & Pineapple – tropical, creamy, and super refreshing • Coconut & Banana – rich, smooth, and just sweet enough

Both smoothies were delicious and made the perfect pairing after the savory shrimp.

I saw someone else post about the Huli Huli chicken. Can confirm, it is absolutely addictive. I got the 2 combo for 30 dollars. It came with 2 massive ribs, and 2 leg quarters. a feast for 3 people I'd say and the meat is so juicy and flavorful. There wasn't a single thing that I did not like there.
