We were staying in the Kaneohe area, and this restaurant popped up on Google when filtering by distance and top rated. We decided to check it out. Several reviews mentioned the value & portion sizes. They serve breakfast specials for $6.99 that come with two eggs 🍳, rice 🍚 and a protein 🥓. They also offer other specials like Katsu, which was slightly more expensive @$8.50. I was happy with the meal. If you're looking for a no-frills, inexpensive, hot breakfast plate, then thisbis the place to go when in the area.
We went ~815am & seems that many locals frequent this place. It was busy with pickup & to-go orders. They have a limited number of tables to dine-in, and if I can remember it correctly, it was about 6. Larger parties of 6+ would probably find seating challenging. The decor was a little outdated for my taste, but we weren't there for the ambience.
The lady working that day was nothing short than excellent 👏. She took orders, called the orders in the back, gave dine-in & take-out orders to customers, mopped, and answered the phone 📱. What a star 🌟!
If you're looking for a breakfast that will fill you up without breaking the bank, then this isnthe place. If you want better ambience & more seating, then you'd probably want to go to the chain restaurant down the block at...
Read moreToday some peers and I decided to try local food and came across this restaurant which we all agreed was a good idea. Once we arrived we made a phone call for curbside pick up because we were all in uniform and aren't authorized per the order to go inside public vicinities. We let the lady know over the phone and told her we parked in front and she took our order and everything seemed fine. However after i get my card back from her she yells at me and then says her phone is very busy and the food will be ready in 10 minutes then throws her hands up and storms inside but we thought nothing of it. After a few minutes go by she comes back outside and says we need to come get our food. We all looked at each other like what are we going to do because she took our money and when she took our order nothing seemed to be a problem until it became busy plus we are in military uniform which isn't allowed inside. We waited maybe a couple of more minutes and she brings the food out and as i rolled my window down she pushed the two bags of food through my window that fell onto my lap and face and she storms inside. I will never come here ever again and highly recommend other not to as well!! SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE AND WE WERE EXTREMELY...
Read moreImpressed by Pan's Kitchen yesterday! I ordered the fresh grilled ahi, and let me tell you, it was incredible. With the first bite you could tell just how fresh it was - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Just a heads up, there might be small hard time understanding sometimes due to the owner's accent. But be patient, communication works out, and the food is absolutely worth it. Parking can be tricky - it's one of those places we only go to when we see a spot open. We got lucky yesterday with an empty space, but two trucks swooped in as soon as we pulled in! Despite the potential parking hassle, Pan's Kitchen is a hidden gem. Highly recommend it for the incredible ahi (and hopefully a...
