Planning a wedding can be daunting, but our food tasting with Chef Elmer and his team at The Poke Stop turned out to be a highlight of the journey. Every aspect of the experience was curated with care and professionalism, from the warm welcome to the delectable sample dishes that left a lasting impression.
Upon arrival, we were enchanted by the beautiful setting arranged for our tasting. The elegance and thoughtfulness were immediately apparent, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey.
Chef Elmer’s creations lived up to our highest expectations. Every item we sampled was spot on, showcasing exceptional flavors and creativity. Whether it was the fresh poke bowls infused with exotic spices or the crisp, refreshing salads, each dish was a testament to the team's culinary prowess.
The staff genuinely valued our input, listening attentively to how we envisioned the food being served on our special day. They embraced our ideas and added their expert suggestions, ensuring our catering choices perfectly reflect our tastes and preferences.
What made the experience even more memorable was how the team accommodated our one-year-old daughter. They served her a delightful portion of French fries, making her feel included and cared for, which truly touched us as parents.
Sharing such a seamless tasting with my fiancé confirmed that Chef Elmer and his crew go above and beyond to make clients feel special. Their dedication and attention to detail ensure that The Poke Stop will be a centerpiece of our wedding celebration.
For anyone seeking an exceptional culinary experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Chef Elmer and his team. Their commitment to excellence and genuine care for their clients make them stand out in the world of catering.

Read moreI don't normally give 5 stars this easy. But I started coming to Poke Stop Mililani in my hopes to eat a little more healthier. First impression was the atmosphere... a huge table populated the eating area... it felt relaxing.
My first time took a while as I didn't know what to order but settled on the Blackened Ahi on top of a sale with Papaya dressing. The cashier looked like the owner (from photos on the wall) and he was extremely comforting, he walked me through the dressings I could get and even told me that he was glad to see me choosing a salad instead of fast food (it's like he knew I was trying to eat healthier). My first time experience is what made me a repeat customer here.
The salad was crispy and the Ahi was fresh. The papaya seed dressing was so good even though it almost mask the taste of the blackened Ahi. I would suggest placing the Ahi on the side and biting it as you eat your salad.
I can't remember the price but you shouldn't be expecting low prices for Fresh fish anyway so if you know the price of fish, you'll understand the price.
Overall, this place will always be an option to eat when in Mililani. It's too bad that the Waiapahu location closed down (I believe) because it took me all these years to find a place like this that consistently pushes...
Read moreFor My first time here I assumed it would be one of those walk in, pick your choice and walk out sort of fish shops. But they exceeded my expectations, I walked in with my fiance and they immediately greeted us, asking If we've been here before or if it's our first time, it was our first time of course, so they kindly showed us where to look and how to order upon their menu. From Daily Specials to lunch plates to Poké Bowls. So taking a look at their selection, I chose the Ahi Oyster Sauce Poké Bowl. While my fiance got the Blackened Ahi Poké Bowl. They were both delicious and of course we swapped plates in between to try the other. Which. Don't worry, they allow you to try it before you order it. Also I noticed they had Ube Cheesecake so I got a helping of that too. It was all very good. But the best part was that they this have this beautifully Polished Resin Wood Table for their customers to eat, as well as they served the food in actual plates, if you're eating In. :) With actual silverware btw. This place has also been visited by Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Which I didn't expect until I saw his picture. Included In the provided pictures. Lol. But that's how you know this place is good and legit. Can't wait to come back...
