Rai Rai has about 6 stalls in the front of the store that they share with another business. It's one of those parking lots that you kind of have to back out onto the street to get out so if traffic allows you to definitely back in. Small dine in area with about 7 tables. When we went at around 1930 there was only 2 other groups but they had a bunch of take out orders. Service was fast and friendly and despite there only being one lady working the tables and take out everything came out quickly. We got a shoyu ramen set (small ramen, bowl rice and 4 gyoza) and a regular mabo tofu ramen. Both had really flavorful broth and the noodles were nice and chewy. Gyoza was also excellent but the rice was a little dry. Price was 14.75 for the set (1 dollar more to upgrade to fried rice) and 14 bucks for the mabo tofu. Overall very happy with the food we got. Price is a little higher than most other ramen places but think it's worth the slight premium to me.

After spending the morning on Kailua beach and Lanikai beach, we were searching for food around the area. I was in the mood for ramen and we ended up at Rai Rai ramen. It seems like a mom and pop shop. Very small with limited parking. Restrooms are out in the back area. We were seated right away. It was not too crowded on a Friday for lunch time. The place was clean with a good amount of seats. We picked our choice of ramen and it was brought out fairly quick. I ordered an oxtail ramen. Portion was big. It came in a giant bowl with a ladle spoon. The broth was sweet and it was served with plenty of oxtail and noodles. I devoured the whole thing quickly. Warning that this place was cash only. The lady that took our orders was friendly and provided quick service. Overall, a good spot to grab a quick and filling lunch in the area.

Incredible ramen and a comfortable dining experience! I ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu and was genuinely impressed—rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh toppings that brought everything together beautifully. Easily one of the best ramen bowls I’ve had in Honolulu. What really stood out beyond the food was the atmosphere. Unlike many ramen spots in Waikiki that tend to be overly hot and stuffy, this place had a comfortable, well-ventilated space where I could actually enjoy my meal without breaking a sweat. That attention to customer comfort goes a long way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for high-quality ramen and a relaxed dining environment!

A Bowl of Comfort: Rai Rai Ramen Rai Rai Ramen in Kailua is a must-try for ramen enthusiasts. The rich, flavorful broths, perfectly cooked noodles, and tender, juicy chashu pork elevate the classic ramen experience. What I Loved: Gluten-Free Ramen!! Rich, Flavorful Broths: The tonkotsu broth is a creamy, pork-based delight that coats your noodles and warms your soul. The shoyu broth, a lighter soy sauce-based option, offers a clean, refreshing taste. Perfectly Cooked Noodles: The noodles are cooked to al dente perfection, providing a satisfying chew with every bite. Tender Chashu Pork: The chashu pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender and incredibly flavorful. Plentiful Toppings: Each bowl is generously topped with a variety of ingredients, including soft-boiled eggs, nori, and spring onions. A Few Tips: Peak Hours: Be prepared for potential wait times during peak hours, especially on weekends. Limited Seating: The restaurant can get crowded, so consider dining during off-peak hours or opting for takeout. Overall, Rai Rai Ramen offers a truly satisfying ramen experience. Whether you're a seasoned ramen connoisseur or a newcomer to the dish, you're sure to enjoy the delicious food and...

Rai Rai Ramen is a cute and clean ramen place in Kailua serving some of the best ramen on Oahu in a small, intimate setting. I loved my visit to this restaurant because I got to spend time with great friends and eat excellent ramen. The service was excellent. The dining room and bathroom were both spotless.

Rai Rai is one of the few ramen places I have visited that has an array of seafood options on the menu. I took advantage of this by ordering the shrimp karaage ramen. The shrimp and ramen were excellent. This place allows udon substitution for a small fee.

Rai Rai is not a fancy restaurant but still has an intimate feel. I think it would be a good place for a date. Adding to the no-frills atmosphere is the cash-only policy which presumably keeps prices down by avoiding credit card fees. Given the quality of the food, I would say this restaurant is medium priced.

I highly recommend them if you're...
