If you're reading this, head on over right now! Trust me, you'll be thanking me! Ry's Poke Shack is a MUST for all Kama'aina and Tourists! Best to know now, get to Ry's early!

So this is how you get started:

  1. Choose your desired Poke Bowl or Poke Salad
  2. Choose which fresh Fish * upon its availability As I mentioned, arrive earlier than later for this reason!
  3. Choose between 14 onolicious flavors, ranges from Mild --- Spicy Go ahead and look at the Menu now, if you're unsure which to choose as I know how difficult it can be! Too many Ono Flavors!!! Ry will suggest based on your preference!

Our definite GO-TO for a refreshing appetizer is the Tofu Poke Salad! The Salad consists of organic tofu with sesame, sweet onion and green onions complimented with Ry's secret spicy shoyu.

  • For ALL Poke you get to choose your style *

Last visit, we ordered their weekend Special - Night Marchers! It sure was tasty with a slight kick of heat. The "Lao Style" is incorporated with Lao infusion flavors with a a bit of heat. Basically meaning it is full of flavorness!

Other Poke spots has your basic typical flavors such as Shoyu based, Limu, Hawaiian Style and so forth. Ry's has the palate for flavors and how they pair the fish with their different sauces makes it a unique experience.

No matter where we are coming from, the drive to Ry's Poke Shack is definitely worth it! It's the LOCAL version of hitting the end of the Rainbow, you got the pot of gold!

FRESH FISH + FULL OF FLAVORS + ALOHA SPIRIT = REGULAR CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE!

We've tried a variety of Poke Bowls and every single time it never ceased to amaze us! No matter which one you choose, you'll end up wanting to come back for more! I'll see you at Ry's Poke Shack on the...

If you're on the hunt for genuine, delicious Poke in a serene and picturesque environment, Ry's Poke Shack in Kahuku in the old Sugar Mill is your go-to destination. As an Arizona native, finding fresh fish is a rarity, so during our brief visit to the stunning North Shore of Oahu, Ry's Poke Shack was a must-try on our culinary journey. Our expectations were not only met but surpassed. We arrived around 2 pm on our final day, and fortuitously, we were told there was just enough of their delicious rice for one more bowl. My wife, understanding my eagerness to try their offerings, chose the Poke Nachos, allowing me the pleasure of the bowl. Both dishes were exceptional! The highlight, however, was the interaction with Ryan, the owner. He engaged in a detailed conversation about my preferences and dislikes. He then proposed, and I eagerly accepted, a custom-made Hawaiian-style bowl, with the addition of crab salad. The result was nothing short of phenomenal, as was the whole experience. The Shack offers several picnic tables, both open-air and sheltered. My wife and daughter were equally impressed with the nachos, quickly finishing them off. We also had the pleasure of meeting Ryan's wife, Khannie. This was the most intimate and personal dining experience we had in Hawaii, deeply appreciative of the dedication, professionalism, and effort put into our meal. It truly felt like a slice of...

If you are around the North Shore and Kahuku then you have got to try Rys poke shack. Who knew poke and nachos would have been an amazing combo. The fish is fresh, flavorful, and the portions are huge. I would highly recommend the ahi! The poke bowls are also amazing. Skip the garlic shrimp across the lot and get Rys.

Food Everything about the poke nachos was excellent. The fish was fresh and the chips were crisp. Plenty of poke marinades to choose from and the shoyu was super good. The crab salad is also very very good with the nachos. They drizzle on the sauces and it just makes everything so much better.

Atmosphere The vibes are casual and laidback. You get to walk up to a food truck and then eat around there or take the food to go. All the seating is outside and there is some shade around.

Pricing Prices are average for poke compared to other spots on the island. I think the food quality and quantity is very worth the price point.

Service The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering questions.

Other There is a parking lot around that is shared by all the other food trucks and restaurants around. There are a few portapottys around but they were out of order when I tried to use it...
