Shout out to that newbie with a green hair who told me "have a nice/great day." I think that's what I heard when I walked out. I apologize for not acknowledging your greeting then...I was too angry about my order and the service that I received from this starbucks' location.
First of all, all those who were working behind the espresso machine---admit it---you guys forgot my drink. Probably wouldn't have done it if I had not asked for it. The place wasn't even busy. There was another person that ordered after me, and she had her one-drink order done before mine. There was another order (2 drinks), maybe a phone order since this customer was not present while I was waiting. In my head, I was looking at those two drinks thinking maybe the baristas made a mistake on my order (which was a grande white mocha).
I waited...no ones eyes turned to me or look concern to why I'm still waiting on the side. Standing there just waiting as other baristas---one by one---leave the front to go to the back, leaving one barista behind the espresso machine and the newbie (I'm assuming she's a newbie since I observed another employee talking to her about how/where things go). So, after contemplating, I decided to ask if one of those two drinks was mine, and the barista asked me what was my order. I calmly responded, and she immediately said no. She then told me that she would make my drink now. I was irritated by her lack of empathy for customer service. I would've understand if the store was busy but it wasn't or if they've shown concern about me waiting for a while---but no.
The barista finally gave me my order, and I noticed that it was an iced coffee version of white mocha and not the blended one. This part was probably my fault since I didn't mention it to the person who took my order. I just assumed it would be blended, or maybe that register person could've specifically given me the option if I wanted a blended or hot or iced. Anyways, I didn't want to wait there any longer so I just left with frustration and anger. This is why I rate Kunia...
Read moreI used to frequent this location a lot when I worked on Schofield and would travel home to Ewa. I would mobile order when I left work so that it would be ready once I got there.
I think 4 out of 5 times they got my order wrong. It would be ready, but wrong. Sometimes it wouldn't be soy, or it would be mocha instead of white mocha, or hot instead of iced. The crazy part about it is that it says exactly what it should be on the label... it just wasn't right. And this place isn't crazy busy compared to places like Waikele, Waikiki, or Pearlridge. To me, its just carelessness. They don't take the time to fully read and verify.
A couple times I went home and my husbands drink was wrong but by then it was too late. So I started checking while I was there and had them correct it on the spot. Most of the time, they would correct it on the spot. Sometimes they would put my cup at the end and make me wait (might as well, right, they already got my money).
I don't know man. I worked at Starbucks before so I get it. ...
Read moreI walked into the store to grab a cup of mocha. The cashier was pleasant. My review is for the barista name NOE (name tag). After waiting 17 min, I realized 8 customers that was behind me at the cashier got their orders. So, I came up to her and asked if she's still working on my drink. She ignored me and so, I stepped back. I waited another 4 min. Then, I noticed another 3 in-store customers picked up their orders. I came up to her again and asked. She replied, "You're order is at the end of the line" and so, I stepped back again. After another 3 min, she asked if I order in-store. I gave her my name and show my app receipt that read 9:16a. Only then she realized that my order sticker receipt didn't print. But why would she tell that my order is at the end of the line? I patiently waited (again) and watched her made 2 other customers drinks. Finally, got my order and left the store at 9:45a...
