Starbucks — Restaurant in Oʻahu

They didn’t have stirrers, they just opened a month ago. And ordered around at 6:45 basically the store just opened right? No stirrers?! Given a plastic straw instead, girl at the drive thru window was getting annoyed when we kept asking for basic minimum stuff like napkins? Cuz we got food… stirrers? Cuz we got honey packets and sugar… to you know stir it in the drink? Cuz that’s what you do when you get one… to be technically it wasn’t even busy at store when we got there, no lines in the drive thru and we pulled up to the speaker, no greetings or anything when I said “hello” and had to wait for 2 mins to finally get a worker to get our order… like it’s not even busy when there’s two lines. I had to even keep saying the order name 3 times cuz I guess their speakers no work or the workers there have ear boogers or something cuz she couldn’t hear what I was saying… Oh and last thing, they didn’t make our orders correct, other drink was a bit bitter when we paid extra for vanilla and caramel, and still bitter. So the workers making drinks don’t even read the actual order or just totally ignores it cuz we had to actually come back to the store, luckily we weren’t too far but the fact that we had to comeback and waste gas to get the drink remade for something we paid with our hard earned money. It was already so expensive as it is, and to not make it right is just straight up annoying. This location sucks and they just opened too!! Like it’s not necessary to open one when there’s one down the road by Costco and waikele already lol...

I usually like this location a lot, but there are mistakes in the drinks pretty often (usually small stuff like an iced latte rather than hot, or wrong flavor for the iced energy). They are always very willing and quick to fix the mistake when I catch it.

However, make sure you double check your orders just in case, especially if you have any dietary restrictions. I am lactose intolerant, and ordered a cortado with oat milk; I'll admit it's definitely my fault for not double checking before drinking, I know I'm taking a risk. I had noticed that they added the chestnut praline syrup instead of the cinnamon, which was weird but not a huge issue, I like that syrup, but they also used regular dairy, and now I have an incredibly upset stomach. It's not a massive deal for me, and of course I understand mistakes can happen when it's busy like it was today, but for someone with actual allergies this could have been a much bigger issue, if they didn't catch it...

I get a really amazing experience here with incredible service. I wanted to try something new so I get fresh brew coffee and the person was so sweet and helpful. I get indecisive so they choose me the best selection and I loved it. I enjoy hearing the selections like what rosy and what to add on and the type of beans. Also I found out I can get free refills and the employee keeps handing me my coffee right on the table I sat on. I can get refills choose cold or hot. I’m feeling such great treatment and service. It really made my day so much better. They gave me a smile and so kind to make sure I got everything I wanted in my coffee. I will definitely come back and will recommend this place to my friends.
