i had placed a drive up pickup, and also had a starbucks chai with oat milk and cinnamon powder in my order. it was brought to me and instantly i noticed there wasn’t any cinnamon as requested, and after one sip i could taste that there was cows milk in it so it was CLEAR they didn’t read any of the notes. I am HIGHLY allergic to cows milk (i have an epi pen), and paid the extra fee for the oat milk. I walked into the store to let the baristas know the mistake and that i’m very allergic and politely asked them to remake it. i had to interrupt their conversation with each other to get them to even notice me standing there at the counter. the one lady briefly said oh sorry, then proceeded to re make it all the while the three of them were making jokes about it, saying “ok who made this??” and laughing “ok hahaha your definitely getting fired for this hahaha” and laughing about it after i had told them how serious it is. this is serious for me, and if i had drank more of the drink i would have needed to be rushed to the hospital. this treatment of customers is unacceptable. no one should ever feel bad because of the mistake the barista made or their allergy. as a food business they should be trained that this is not something you should joke about EVER and you should be aware and respectful. and honestly , do your job and read the order notes! if your company is charging a customer for dairy alternative THE DRINK BETTER HAVE THE DAIRY ALTERNATIVE . im not a karen and i never even write reviews on places but i need to share my experience as a warning for anyone going to the kapolei...

Also they seemed short staffed even after they know every one is Christmas shopping in target so it’s packed. The male barista preparing the drinks did not bother to dispense enough whip cream to fill the top of the domed cup lid. I had to mention for more whip cream to be offered. I declined.
