I find it quite perplexing how this establishment has managed to earn a four-star rating. Upon entering, it quickly became clear that the atmosphere was heavily tailored to tourists, lacking the warmth and genuine hospitality that one would hope for in a dining experience. The menus were particularly confusing; the selections available while waiting in line differed significantly from those presented at the register, creating unnecessary complications for customers trying to make informed choices.

Additionally, I noticed a significant lack of basic dining essentials—there were no condiments, napkins, water, or sugar provided on the tables for dine-in customers. It was frustrating that no staff member offered assistance or even mentioned these missing items; instead, servers seemed to glide by without engaging with customers or checking on their needs. This led me to navigate the dining experience on my own, retrieving necessary items such as utensils, which should have been readily accessible.

As for the food and drinks, my anticipation was high, especially considering the venue’s apparent popularity, highlighted by the constant flow of patrons lining up outside. However, I soon realized that the long wait times stemmed primarily from having only one cashier processing orders, which felt inefficient given the volume of customers.

I ordered a cappuccino hoping for a rich, satisfying flavor, but it failed to meet my expectations, lacking the creamy texture and robust coffee notes I anticipated. On a brighter note, the Frozen Vintage Kona Mocha was a delightful surprise—its rich, chocolatey flavor and refreshing chill stood out as the highlight of my visit.

Turning to the food, the menu leaned heavily towards healthy options, which I appreciated. I opted for a salad for breakfast, featuring bacon and scrambled eggs. However, the dressing, a balsamic vinaigrette, was excessively diluted, unintentionally mixing with the eggs and creating an unpalatable flavor combination. The bacon was unfortunately overcooked, resulting in a dry, overly crisp texture that was not particularly enjoyable, and regrettably, the scrambled eggs were similarly overdone.

I also sampled the Almond Butter papaya bowl, but it was overwhelmed by an excessive amount of almond butter, drowning out the flavor of the fruits that were intended to complement it.

In conclusion, the prices on the menu did not align with the overall experience I encountered, leaving me feeling rather disappointed. Given the state of the food and service, I ultimately chose to take the salad and fruits home for my rabbits, as they seemed more appreciative of the...

Hello, I am a frequent customer at the Kapolei location. Everytime I've dined in house, I've always had a great experience. Food is always fresh, astetically pleasing, and ono. Service has always been very pleasant as well. Because of this I often recommend this location to friends and family and tend to bring my work out group for our group get togethers to dine. We always enjoy the experience. This was the norm until recently when i witnessed a very unpleasant confrontation between some young ladies working the coffee machines at the front desk and with someone that seemed like he could've been the Manager or Supervisor on duty. He was an older Asian man that was constantly coming from the back of the house to the front to converse with the young ladies working at the front. I didn't get his name but i wish i did so i could put a name to the unfortunate situation i observed.

I was picking up some To- Go orders and as i was standing at the counter waiting for my coffee i witnessed this Older gentlemen come to the front and yell at 2 young ladies working very hard. The level of his voice was enough to startle me and get my attention away from a phone call i was on to listen to what he was yelling about. Come to find out he was yelling at the workers for not using the right cups for service of all things?! Asking them why don't they listen and scolding them like little kids. He said" You were told before, whyyyy are you still using the other cups this?!! Whyyyy?"and so on. It was degrading!!!! The poor girls answered back respectfully and he went to the back and came back to yell again in less than 2-3 min or so. I could tell this embarrassed the young ladies but i want to give them credit for how they handled the situation. They continued on with their work to no avail. But this also made me question if this was a common occurrence? I hope not. I found the whole exchange of words to be disrepectful for these poor girls and overall extremely unprofessional. Correcting your employees is one thing, but yelling at them was belittling and uncalled for. I wish i had the chance to speak to this man in person but i was already running late to my dr appt. If management cannot control their emotions in a public environment especially were customers are present, they need to be corrected & repremended. I don't know how these young ladies kept a calm as they did. But i applaud them because i know if i we're in their shoes, i would not have been able to...

I thought Island Vintage was just coffee, acai bowls, and shave ice... but the food menu is fire af! Never thought I'd find such a mean burger at a place like this.
