Service has always been very pleasant as well. Because of this I often recommend this location to friends and family and tend to bring my work out group for our group get togethers to dine. We always enjoy the experience. This was the norm until recently when i witnessed a very unpleasant confrontation between some young ladies working the coffee machines at the front desk and with someone that seemed like he could've been the Manager or Supervisor on duty. He was an older Asian man that was constantly coming from the back of the house to the front to converse with the young ladies working at the front. I didn't get his name but i wish i did so i could put a name to the unfortunate situation i observed.
I was picking up some To- Go orders and as i was standing at the counter waiting for my coffee i witnessed this Older gentlemen come to the front and yell at 2 young ladies working very hard. The level of his voice was enough to startle me and get my attention away from a phone call i was on to listen to what he was yelling about. Come to find out he was yelling at the workers for not using the right cups for service of all things?! Asking them why don't they listen and scolding them like little kids. He said" You were told before, whyyyy are you still using the other cups this?!! Whyyyy?"and so on. It was degrading!!!! The poor girls answered back respectfully and he went to the back and came back to yell again in less than 2-3 min or so. I could tell this embarrassed the young ladies but i want to give them credit for how they handled the situation. They continued on with their work to no avail. But this also made me question if this was a common occurrence? I hope not. I found the whole exchange of words to be disrepectful for these poor girls and overall extremely unprofessional. Correcting your employees is one thing, but yelling at them was belittling and uncalled for. I wish i had the chance to speak to this man in person but i was already running late to my dr appt. If management cannot control their emotions in a public environment especially were customers are present, they need to be corrected & repremended.
