The owner of this restaurant replied to my review saying that cooking my food meant that I owe them a gratuity. These people are scammers who don’t understand the difference between the front of the house, and the back of the house who steal from their customers by adding on ghost charges. THIEF. How dare they. I am disgusted. They should be collecting money for Maui not stealing from their customers. Karma never forgets though🤙🏽 Automatic 10% gratuity when we order from a computer? Than you have the audacity to prompt us for our own choice of tip that does not adjust the original tip, but adds to that 10%??? You think you deserve the same amount of grat that are server who spends an hour+ serving a table • when you give no direct service at all? Literally, you don’t even hand us our chopsticks, we grab them ourselves. $20 for average pad Thai is something I can live with but literally, knowingly charging me for something I didn’t receive? Well, that’s fraud honey. Chicken dry as...

I'm giving this a five star review because of the quality and taste of the food!!! It was remarkable! I'm originally from Sydney so I've had incredible Thai food all of my life. These tastes were ON POINT! I had the Basil shrimp, but I also tried the pad thai, green curry and pad se ew. All were incredible. I should have tried the Pad kee moa as that is my favorite dish.

Pieces of feedback however - your prices are pretty dang high - to get a "large" basil shrimp it cost me over $20 and it was mostly rice... there were say 6-7 pieces of shrimp? The rest was beans and basil which was cooked and seasoned phenomenally, however if I'm paying that much I'd hope to have a bit more shrimp. In addition, the wait and service could have been SO much better. Honestly, if I was rating just the service it'd easily be two or even one stars. So hopefully there's improvement there. I'll be coming back for the food - but if the service is terrible again may be...

If possible, I would highly recommend you avoid this place. Absurdly unkind and terrible service because the rude and intimidating appears-to-be owner/chef will say, "go away" when you ask a question. I ordered three dishes that cost 16 dollars each, which sums up to 48 dollars, but at the order kiosk, it came out to be over 55 dollars. So I asked what other extra charge is in-between because even with 4.71% state tax, it should be around 50 dollars. When I asked this question, the guy said the following: "just go. Go away!" I asked, "what's the matter?" He said, "because your question annoys me" and then kept insulting people. I must have asked a pretty valid question. This place has been ripping off naive customers with hidden charges (above 15%).

Further, foods are very greasy, contributing to high LDL cholesterols that cause heart attacks and stroke. I hope you save your hard-earned money or at least don't deal with this...

Pretty good Thai food, especially for a food truck and convenience/speed. My favorite was the pad kee Mao (or any noodle dish they make) - they get the slightly burnt noodles right and it’s very flavorful. The papaya salad is also tasty and fresh so I’d be back for that as well. The curry was tasty but felt lacking in ingredients. It’s located behind an old gas station, without any place to sit. Took a star off the service because they got the order a little mixed up between the pad kee mao and the pad see ew. But all in all, good food!

We got the Yum Nua and Pad Thai with Chicken. Both were super delicious. The beef in the Yum Nua was soft and super flavourful. And I'm not a big fan of Pad Thai but this one was a winner-- delicious flavour, not oily. We came just after they opened and service was quick. Very generous portions. I only wish they had picnic tables like other food trucks to enjoy the delicious food in the Hawaiian breeze. But space is limited given it's in the parking lot of a gas station. Regardless, would definitely come back again!

Ate here for the first time two years ago and it was literally my first time ever having pad Thai and it changed me. We ate the food at sunset beach across the street and it was a core memory. Coming back two years later made me nervous it wouldn’t live up to the hype we had set but alas, it was even better than we remembered. Absolutely worth getting, but let Thai food at sunset beach be your new core memory!
