Horrible morning service at the fast food counter. I’m shocked.
I don’t care how early in the morning it is, and I don’t care if you think people should be able to read your mind. If your customer’s order is ready, you need to call the number out and confirm that it’s been picked up by your customer. Yes, that means you have to stand and wait there until the customer comes and picks it up. You actually should be handing it to them. Don’t just place it at the pick-up area and assume the customer knows it’s theirs. This is simple customer service etiquette. It’s not asking the world from you. What’s going on, management?
The front register is often unmanned in the morning because the cashier is god-knows-where, meanwhile there is a line forming in front of said empty register, and the slow moving gentleman packing the food has his back turned away from the customers the whole time, leaving us wondering if they’re even taking orders at 7:00am. Where’s the urgency? We’re all tired and we’re all working.
Again, since the cashier is often absent from their post, there’s no one else to confirm whether ready orders are actually being called out.
I observed lack of care from the workers to other customers as well. They and I are often puzzled by how poor the quality of service is.
I don’t like writing poor reviews like this, but the gentleman’s poor attitude that morning really shocked me. I say all this as a previous employee at Zippy’s. It’s so sad to see how things are going.
If you’re not going to call order numbers out, at least have the decency to place a receipt next to the ready orders so that customers know whether it’s...
Read moreThe cashier/waitress Nora made me and my husband very uncomfortable. As it being our first time here, we asked some customers were they in line. The customers told us they were, after he already responded, she proceeded to literally raise her voice and say “everyone is standing in line here”. I felt that was really unnecessary and directed at us even though we did not ask her in the first place. Her response was rude. The second waitress came and asked her who was next, she then looked at the line and asked “who’s next” seeing and knowing that we were the first people there waiting. This was very unpleasant and we didn’t feel welcomed at all. Instead of enjoying our food which was good, we kept talking about how uncomfortable we were because of this experience. We won’t be coming back here anymore. Costumer service is the key to running a successful business and having her there in the front made this...
Read moreIf you want excellent and quick service I highly recommend this Zippy location,The service was excellent, we were seated quickly and our waitress Jessica was very friendly and quick at taking our orders. When the food was brought to our table she made sure we were all good with our orders and our drinks, she would stop and make sure everything was good and if we needed anything else like desert. The food was great as always (I recommend chili and chicken plate with mac salad and the hamburger steak with toss salad. The bathroom was clean and stock ,The only down side to this location is the parking is limited when busy so you would have to park across the street by longs drugs for additional parking but other then that the parking is convenient and parking for handicap is close to the elevator to get upstairs to the dining area side and on the takeout side there is a ramp to get...
