I am not one to complain or write a negative review however my experience was absolutely terrible last night and something should be addressed, perhaps the Health Department. Upon sitting down we noticed maybe 1-2 gnats/fruit flies. Tried to put it off and not be bothered. However, after receiving our drinks and appetizer it was obvious there was more than just a couple. We had ordered a pitcher of beer as well. By the time our dinner arrived, we were continuously swatting and/or killed a couple ourselves. We informed our waiter of the issue, that one had landed and was now floating in our pitcher of beer that was only about 1/2 consumed at this point. A few minutes later, the waiter returned and stated he told the manager and "he said he have had a problem for a day". The manager never came and spoke to us, never addressed the issue or apologized, etc and we really didn't eat our dinner because of the gross condition. The food also was subpar(the baked beans were dried out and had a film on top of them, fried chicken was dried out and no real flavor). Ordered a brisket sandwich and bbq nachos with 2 side salads for pick up. Went to pick it up and it wasn't ready, so I waited. After 30 minutes of waiting a waitress comes to tell me they no longer have brisket, and asked if wanted something else... so I ordered the French dip. Another customer comes in to pick up her order and they had given it to someone else, said they'd give her whatever for free and got it to her in 5 minutes. Another 30 minutes go by and I'm still waiting. They finally bring me my food... no compensation for all I went thru, couldn't even offer me free deserts. I get to my car and double check my order... no fires, no salad dressing for either salad and no toppings for my nachos. Go back in and still can't offer me anything for how I was put out. They lost a customer and a family of 4 that always tip well and so our best to support places like this!!! Go there all the time with my family was there on the 19th of March love the food bad review was there was a woman and her daughter in the frount they were there when my family came she smiled at us and her daughter opened the door for us and they were there for a while we could see them from our table not sure of the situation but the manager came out and they talked she got on the phone and it set him off he got in her face yelling chest pumped up (like he may hit this woman) in a threatening manner to this woman with her daughter she must have been there over an hour waiting patiently and smiled at everyone coming in we left shortly after she did and we love the food but won't go back if the owner thinks it is ok to hire men like him to threaten anyone who looked to us to not be doing nothing in the wrong to be treated like that then we don't need to give them our business i feel sorry for that woman and her daughter and if he treated her like that then i really feel sorry for...
