It is terribly appropriate that (currently) this McDonald's golden arches sign - is broken, showcasing one golden arch and - then kind of another. Let me explain:
I have been coming to this location for years when my family and I crave the rare but powerful tasty deliciousness of McDonald's breakfast food. We're going to have to reconsider that trend as of today's experience.
In addition to the becoming far more present kiosks that replace human beings, this location features an on duty morning manager that simply won't help. While we are able to order a sausage McGriddle sandwich with bacon egg and cheese on it in a meal configuration, we are unable to order a McGriddle sandwich with only sausage on it, in a meal configuration.
This seem like a simple fix or perhaps something they overlooked inside the kiosk experience. I asked for help and a young black man (The on duty morning manager), who was (in my opinion) more interested in entertaining his coworkers, stated that "there's nothing he could do." I then asked, "is there anyway you can do something about this so that I don't leave not only hungry but angry?" He he stated, again, "there's nothing I can do."
Well - there is something that I can do. I can choose to not eat here.
I can not return to your establishment.
I can share my experience with other so that they can avoid unpleasant situations like this.
I can suggest that everyone reading this drive a simple 3 miles west to Hardee's - where I not only got smiles, welcoming attitude - but also delicious, tasty hot food in any meal configuration I wanted.
I even got a good series of giggles from the Hardee's employees I shared this story with there. They asked "why did you go there? Why, indeed.
In a time where we all have to consider where we deposit our money (because of the economy, job changes, the way life spins, etc) there is no place for an attitude of being unable/unwilling to help a customer. Nothing of my request was outside of any bounds in the way of cost, customer service assistance, or keeping a long time customer happy.

The food was fresh, my tray was beautifully organized, the crew were happy to grab me some honey and a fork. The lobby was clean and calm, I was happy to enjoy one of the last lunches I'll have with my girlfriend before she moves on my birthday this Monday. But that happiness fizzled out when I met Jamie and saw her behavior. I was immediately set on edge as she is being very loud and disruptive to the lobby. Moreover, it was how she talked to the crew. Rather than ask someone to clean up the soda station politely, she spoke well above a speaking volume with a rude tone "someone needs to get out here and clean this lobby, it's absolutely disgusting" when the lobby was clean. Unclear directions at best and when an employee got there, she over-explained the directions in a conscending manner. Next, she followed the same pattern while asking another employee to scrub inside the trashcans. Everyone else was busy with their tasks and in their positions when she went back to the kitchen. There was a third employee she asked "what are you doing right now" with the same attitude rather than providing the teen a directive. We just got our food at that point when Jamie takes a phonecall and sits directly behind our table despite the whole empty lobby, disrupting our lunch. She is cheerful and respectful on the phone, proving she has the capacity to be decent and respectful but chooses not to use it for those she deems below herself. She sat there and stayed there until we left quickly because her unprofessional behavior made us so uncomfortable. Never call-in and complain due to it being little but today the wife was a little more angry than normal and I was shook by the response I had gotten the from the manager on duty. I’m a loyal customer and loyal to my order I’ve gotten the same thing since I was 9 I am now 22. My wife since we’ve been together has been the same. 2 Mcchicken no lettuce, light mayo and add cheese, fries and a large sweet tea. My wife Mcchicken straight up, Cheeseburger “extra” onion fries and a large drink. I call up to ask for a manager, the manager then says she is presently speaking. I proceed to inform her of what my issue was, before I could finish my sentence she had interrupted me and suggested I look on my burger a little more in a certain area that I would be able to find my extra onions, only this time there was none. Normally we get onions, the normal amount they usually add extra pickles for some odd reason. Not today there wasn’t a spec to be found, well maybe like 2 or 3 of the little dices but cmon not the issue at hand. So after inspecting my burger further as instructed by “Erica” the manager on duty. I proceeded to inform her that they’re none on my burger, as she insisted and interrupted me once again she was standing right there as they were making my exact order. I had then ask for a refund of the order when she refused and said she can remake the burger. Cool yes ma’am I’ll be tomorrow. Not to mention I only took 3 drinks from my tea and it was empty.
