I've normally had good experiences, but this was very strange. Yes, its Christmas, and I shouldn't complain, but I just cant understand the experience I had. I walked in with my wife and 3 year old daughter, someone yelled, Merry Christmas. " I thought, well that's wonderful! It wasnt very busy, one table finished to the right, one table finishing up to the left, a couple who already had their food, then us. We walked over to the corner table. We sat for about 5 min, then a single gentleman walked in and sat at the back left corner. Someone walked up to him and immediately took his drink order. We sat for another 10 minutes patiently. I then heard one girl say to what I would guess was manager that no one had greeted us. She continued about her business. After a few minutes, we decided to just go to IHOP. We got up and passed 3 employees, not one person said a thing. It was like we were invisible. Finally, as I'm walking out the door, I said, "Thank you for your help." Read moreI placed an online order. When I get there to pick it up, there are 6 employees behind the counter. At least 3 of them saw me and 1 person made eye contact twice. Two of the 6 employees weren’t doing anything and all of them refused to help me. I finally grabbed the random bag on the counter to see if it was mine. It looked like it had the correct food so I assumed it was mine. It did not have utensils, butter, or jam and they didn’t have any near the register. When I got home, I realized I was charged for cheese on my eggs & grits and they did not put cheese on either. I immediately tried calling the store multiple times. No one answered any of the times I called and the phone eventually hung up on me. I am 100% dissatisfied with this store, their employees, their service, and their quality. They can’t get orders right, even when you pay extra for items. And then they won’t help you to try to fix the issue or get a refund for the mess up. I will never go to this Waffle...
Read moreI am giving my overall experience a 3 star. Service was 5 star, food was... Not my usual experience at waffle house. I have 5 star experiences at waffle houses in general, and this location is really a 4.5 - 5 based on all my previous experiences. I don't want to say it was the cook, but it definitely was the food. Eggs were disgusting and were wet. Like they had been dropped in water and fished out. Bacon was overcooked and super dry. Hashed browns were dry and a little overcooked. To be honest everything of mine and my daughters was overcooked except the waffles. This is the first time I have had this at any waffle house. I will return, hopefully the cook was just having an off day, I can't imagine that was his normal cooking.
