Starbucks — Restaurant in O’Fallon

This is the only place that has espresso on my way to work. So I usually use the mobile app. And if I make my order and don't wait 10 minutes or more. Then the person at the drive through speaker will passive aggressively Shame me because they feel like they did not have enough time to prepare my order of a hot molcha espresso and a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I don't understand why they like to passive aggressively shame me for showing up 5 minutes after I made my mobile order, because when people go through the drive through, they tell them their order and then they pull to the window. And it seems like they have plenty of time to make it doing it that way? So that's why I gave some lower scores when it comes to the service. If there's some reason they want me to make my order a certain way, then they should tell me. Instead of trying to make me feel bad by saying things like, "oh, we just got that order 6 minutes ago. We'll try to get it ready by the time you get to the window." And they wonder why my tips have gone down from $5 to nothing. But the coffee is good, and food is good enough for a guy who works...

I came into the store in the middle of a heat advisory trying to purchase a cup of ice water to drink while I study and was told that they’re not allowed to give cups of water nor let anyone purchase a cup of water. Then when trying to discuss this with the district manager I was told that no matter the temperature outside they’re not allowed to let anyone have a cup of water nor purchase a cup of water. And he hung up on me. This conversation was recorded for proof and will be posted on social media to let everyone know how Starbucks treats their customers. There’s no way that any where should deny anyone a simple cup of water in this kind of heat. I’m asthmatic and could hardly even breathe and still was denied water. This shouldn’t be ok nor accepted ANYWHERE!...

So sad to see that the girl who took my order had such an attitude. No name tag. Plaid shirt. Hair in banana clip. I truly hope that her day gets better, because I did absolutely nothing to deserve the way she acted and looked at me today. I guess she didn't want to work the holidays or I don't really know. 🤷 She even forgot to ask my name.

Drink was made perfectly though and the rest of the staff was good.

Edit: I visited today and the drive thru person was great! Very sweet! Drink was perfect! So I am amending my review! Back...
