Blueberry Hill Breakfast Cafe — Restaurant in Oak Brook

Food was fine, but service was horrible! Was overcharged on my bill, and people at the registered were annoyed that they had to fix it. Ordered a mushroom omelette, they decided to charge me for a veggie omelette, two dollars more than what a mushroom omelette would cost. Daughter ordered biscuits and gravy, they charged me biscuits and gravy with eggs, another two dollars. I went to the front and asked the girls at the register if the prices on the menu were correct, thinking maybe I was looking at old prices. The tall Asian lady says, 'I don't know, we just had our menus printed yesterday, I have to go ask.' Seriously? What type of restaurant prints new menus with old prices? She came back and said yes they are correct. I don't even work there and I could have answered that. So she was already annoyed. Then she had the go back a couple more times to adjust the prices for each of those items that were incorrect. Then she tells me oh your waitress decided to charge for these items instead of what you exactly ordered, but it's ok I will adjust for you. Well, yes you better adjust it since that's not what I ordered. She made it sound like it was my fault and she never once apologized. (Waitress did apologize though.) She looked super annoyed and absolutely impatient! I hope next time that lady goes to the store they charge her a dollar more for every item she buys and then gives her dirty looks when she tells them it's wrong. Check your bill when you go to this restaurant unless you don't care about a few dollars. But every dollar count in my book and no one ever rips me off! I go to the Darien restaurant all the time and never had...

Wish the food and service was better on this fine valentine's day! The server was not being considerate of time and taking our orders in a timely fashion. Our server barely checked in on us to see if we were okay or needed anything but only once. The food is something I could've passed on!! I think McDonald's have better pancakes than the dry one's we received. I asked for crispy bacon and they still gave me undercooked bacon for $4 when I could've just cooked my whole meal at home way better than what was served from this restaurant. By the way, our server didnt even care to deliver our food! Someone else had to do her job when we saw that she was available to do so herself.. The messed up part of it all was that they sat us in front of the door that's not in use and no one else was placed there before, during or even after us and was extremely cold from the negative temperature outside blowing in on top of them having the air conditioner over my head! While everyone else received booths or tables in warmer areas! Definitely not going back here and if the customer service was better along with the food, then they would have received a hefty tip from me. I would not recommend to anyone after my first and last visit...

This is my new favorite spot to grab amazing breakfast meals! Blueberry Hill is fantastic! They have a huge variety of food, their menu is very big, and you can find so many affordable offers. The food here was really good and their portions were fair and generous. I ordered a skirt steak, an omelet, and some pancakes. I also tried their drinks. The food was very fresh, tasty, delicious, and made to perfection. You will absolutely love the texture and their style of cooking. The smell from the kitchen where they cooked and prepared all of their food is spreading to the whole place and it is so great. The place is very huge, clean, decent, and bright. The interior is well-organized, they have plenty of seating, and the aisle is very wide. Such a comfortable and calming place. The managers and staff were very kind, attentive, and very entertaining. Outstanding customer service! All of them are great and know how to treat the customers right. No wonder why a lot of their customers really love their place and keep visiting again and again.
