Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Oak Harbor

I ordered 2 of the $5 lunch meals. One of them was chicken tenders and the other was a cheeseburger. I also ordered 2 plain hot dogs. The chicken tenders were tiny. Almost chicken nugget sized. The burger was burnt. Although I couldn’t taste that it was for the first half of the burger with how much ketchup and mayo was on it. The fries were undercooked and cold by the time I got them home. And the hotdogs were so dried out that they started to shrivel up and the outside of the bun was rock hard while the inside was mushy like it soaked in water for a few minutes. I went back and complained. They apologized and made new fries and new hotdogs. The fries were fine this time but the hotdogs were the same. I called and complained this time and they offered to refund my money. I went back in and was told this about the hotdogs: they come out of the fridge, get boiled, then when they get ordered they get reheated, then put on a bun and reheated again. My assumption on the reheating process is that they do it in the microwave as that’s how most fast food places do it. Then after all this trouble and now 3 trips to the store I got refunded the money for just the hotdogs. I’m never going to the oak harbor Dairy Queen again and never ordering food from a Dairy...

Their call box is so quiet and muffled it was impossible to hear when they asked us a question. We went to the window about to ask them to repeat what they said, but they were too busy chatting and messing around with each other to do anything other than GET OUR ORDER WRONG. We did not get what we ordered. They did not give us the kids cone. And we waited in a long line, so we left. We didnt realize the food order wasn't ours (or anything edible) until we got home and we were not about to drive back only to wait in line for them to "try again" as they said they'd do on the phone.

The toast wasn't even toasted, or buttered for that matter. The fries were undercooked, and the chicken strips were overcooked and chewy. Wont be going back there anytime soon...or ever...so disappointed with...

I just wanted to let you know we’re been disappointed lately, the pecan clusters that we always ordered, it looks like lesser pecan now and they been really slacking making it, is almost just like whatever??? You know what I mean???, then some of the ladies have long fingernails bright colors and it looks like unsanitary😌Sorry but when you work in food place, you’re appearance and cleanliness and hygiene is your priority!!! Kinna turn as off! We don’t normally say anything, but lately is been bug the heck out of me,I think management needs to address this kinna issue because it will affect you stablishmrnt if you continually ignoring this! I don’t know what is your policy on those long fingernails! That can stay in the office work not in when you serving food or...
