This place is very clean and quiet.we ordered 2 pizza one with chicken, green peppers ,and onion for my 10 year old and I ordered Mushroom and Spinach . My daughter Pizza had raw green peppers ,and onion. We usually go to blaze but decided to try this restaurant since we live in Oakpark. I told the employee our green peppers were raw ,and she went to go get the manager who said that’s how it’s made here. Every pizza restaurant I’ve ever ate at serves cook vegetables on there pizza 🍕 I recommend them letting people know when they order green peppers that they come raw or grilled ,and she told me I can’t blame the person that took your order because when she ring people up she don’t let people know they have two options. So your ok with misinforming customers, and you’re ok with not trying to make this a better business. I’m confused 🤷🏾‍♀️ Who eats raw vegetables on there pizza . Blaze always cook your food all the way through ,and Pizza Hut , and every other pizza restaurant I’ve ate at.We live in Oakpark and I’ll be driving all the way to north Riverside mall to get my fire wood pizza cook correct. That’s not how you do business ! (These pizza aren’t cheap)you inform people about options raw or grilled . They were big long green pepper and onion pieces that wasn’t chopped up ....

🧄🍞🔥 Bricks Wood Fired Pizza – Oak Park: A Carb-Fueled Joy Ride

Stopped by Bricks and let’s just say… our tastebuds got a full-body massage. 😌

Bread Bites kicked things off like that mixtape you forgot in the glovebox—unexpectedly divine. Brushed with roasted garlic olive oil and topped with parmesan? Yes please. And that sweet, tangy tomato sauce? I may or may not have considered using it as cologne. 💁‍♂️🍅💦

Then came the Honey Love Pizza—a 16” masterpiece that was equal parts romance novel and rock anthem. Pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, hot honey drizzle… y’all, it slapped harder than a seatbelt in July. 🍯🔥🍕 We ate like we were prepping for hibernation.

My daughter ordered the Mac “N” Cheese, and I snagged a sneaky forkful when she wasn’t looking. Rich, creamy, and breadcrumbed like someone finally took comfort food seriously. If cozy had a flavor—this was it. 🧀✨

The service? Like catching a tailwind—fast, warm, and smooth sailing. Cleanliness & vibe? Think: HGTV met a wood-fired oven and had a really stylish baby. Plenty of seating for your whole snack squad.

😎 Final Rating:

✨ 10/10 Worth the Fuel & Forklift Aftermath

I love their pizza. So happy a wood fired place is here in Oak park. But after two awful deliveries and no response from the restaurant I decided to review. I understand that restaurants are short staffed but twice now we have ordered and waited over 30 minutes -45 minutes past the posted delivery time. I always tip the drivers well - I really don't think it's the fault of the drivers. The first time the driver told me he saw my pizza sitting there on the counter for over 20 minutes before they gave it to him to deliver. The second time I called after teh delivery was over 30 minutes late from the scheduled delivery time. While on hold with the restaurant the driver did show up. I could tell she was out of breath. The pizza was cold and uncut and terrible. I tried calling the restaurant to ask them for a credit for next time, not even for another pizza. They picked up the phone after the 5th ring and put it in hold for 15 minutes and counting. I want to support local and I did love their pizza, but won't order from them again. $34 with tax and tip for one pizza and two salads. We...

--- I stopped in to grab a little something to eat and asked the two employees which was better—the bread bites or pretzel bites. They recommended the pretzel bites, and I’m glad I listened! They were soft, warm, lightly salted, and came with a tasty cheese dipping sauce. The portion size was good for the price. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating and even had a few Instagram-worthy photo spots. Nice place to meet a friend for a quick lunch. The menu looked great overall, and I saw a few other items I’d like to try next time including the pizza which looked and smelled great coming out of the brick oven. I will definitely be back.

Ordered online for pickup, but still gave them a 20% tip. Arrived just after the pickup time and was told, "They're working on your pizza." When I asked why it wasn't ready when they said it would be, I was told, "We're busy." No apology. When I got the order, no one bothered to say thanks, in spite of the tip. If that wasn't enough to put me off, here's a picture of my ceasar salad that I paid for extra cheese and croutons. Pretty stingy. The pizza's not that good - they've lost me as a customer.
