Only because zero was not an option. My husband and I went to have dinner after a long day. We were promptly seated however noone came to serve us for at least 10 minutes. It took at least 30 minutes to at least get bread. Server forgot my husband's salad, forgot our garlic spread... and forgot about us. We got our food with nuts on the rice.. we requested no nuts. You could hear our server screaming at the kitchen crew! Then the food came back to the table with the worst rice ever! My husband's chicken was dry and burnt. He asked the server "Is it always like this?" She said " No, the "good" cook got mad earlier and walked out. She said the rest of the cooks in the back didnt care how they cooked our food! She offered to remake it. My husband was still hungry so he reluctantly agreed. It took so long to make that he asked them to cancel it... well they brought it anyway(boxed to go)... after all of that, mind you its been 1 1/2 hours, they charged us full price. Of course we asked to speak a manager. The worst, most angry and disrespectful manager named Adam came over. No smile, apology, or ownership of the horrible service and food. He told my husband to give back his remade food if he wanted any compensation! All I could say was Wow! My husband told him that he was losing a long time customer... the manager Adam sarcastically smiled and said ok. WELL IT'S NOT OK WE WILL NEVER BE BACK AND NEITHER WILL OUR FRIENDS OR FAMILY. Sad to treat people that way... Of course you know what...

A friend took me to Pita Café for my birthday today. I C picked the place, because I had heard so many good things about it from friends. It has definitely been affected by Covid. There are go boxes that your food is served in, and you have the option of finding one of the few tables to eat in which we did. There’s really no wait staff, the person brings you your food and that’s pretty much it. They did come back once or twice for another table and we were able to get what we were missing. There was no garlic sauce which is a mainstay in this cuisine. The fresh bread has been over cooked in the bottom was very hard. The lamb Shawarma was very good but the portion was marginal, and the price has increased by four dollars to accommodate Covid I guess. Pretty much there was only three people running the whole establishment. Oh and all the food the lamb, the salad, and the rice were good. The hummus which came in a small container was not fresh. My friend got falafel and really enjoyed it. I won’t have a craving to go back, but if someone wanted to go I would still go. Really would like to give it 3 1/2 stars. However I am considering it’s a tough environment to keep a restaurant going. My hats...

If I could give zero stars I would. The customer service was terrible!! The clerk who ran up my food was the rudest most combative and belligerent person I ever encountered while dining out. The cashier charged me too much and because I challenged his error he used profanity in his native language, which I understood but he assumed I didn’t know how he was insulting me and my colleagues. It was a legitimate mistake he made, however because I questioned him he got offended. I ordered a carry out but when I went to pick it up they did not provide me with what I ordered but still charged me the same price as if I had received it. I tried numerous times to explain its okay if you don’t have what I ordered just please refund me the difference. To add insult to injury my chicken dish was dry so I couldn’t even consume it. The review is not about money it’s about how we as consumers need to be treated with dignity and respect. The level of disrespect was appalling. I’ve been patronizing this Restaurant for over 20 years and I can’t believe I was treated this way. I’ll never go to this establishment again!! Educate your staff immediately so no else is subjected to this type of...

Food was disgusting! Meat was dry and overcooked, rice was mushy. The hummus was served as though it was bought from a grocery store (like Nino’s) in a prepackaged container even though we asked to dine in. It also tasted like it was premade. At the price point we paid, other restaurants serve mini homemade hot pita bread. This place had pre-wrapped pitas (like from Yasmeen bakery that come in a pack). The tahini was very thin and the lemon taste was overpowering.

Pita cafe is my favorite place for all things Mediterranean. The whole deboned chicken is like no other, Their bread and garlic is the best and always fresh. I usually substitute my rice for a double salad and this is my meal for 2 days. Portions are GREAT. Their fresh fruit juices are 10/10. Service always feels like family and I have NEVER returned food. They have removed the option to be served inside, but you can sit and eat.
