🍝 PASTA MAVENS IN SOUTHFIELD IS A PROBLEM (IN THE BEST WAY) 🍝 Pulled up to Pasta Mavens and immediately understood why people keep this spot in rotation. Everything tastes fresh — like, made-with-intention fresh. The focaccia bread alone deserves its own fan club. Warm, fluffy, perfectly seasoned… I could’ve eaten just that and gone home happy. 😮‍💨🥖 I went with one of their pasta bowls and didn’t miss the meat at all. That’s how good the flavors are. The noodles, the sauce, the toppings — everything works together instead of fighting for attention. Clean, comforting, and seriously satisfying. If you’re looking for a spot where you can build exactly what you’re craving (or just trust the kitchen to do it right), Pasta Mavens is it. Their sizes (maven vs munch) are almost exactly the same and they shrunk since the last time I ordered. The first time They were circular bowls that were deeper and they gave a nice portion. This time the containers shrunk and the difference between the maven and the munch was very small. See photo side by side and lids one on top of the other. For the price, portions should be bigger. This is pasta not even meat.

Great food and great portions. A very much needed addition to the Detroit kosher food scene.

One suggestion as the place is being set up. The self-serve kiosks are not the clearest. Maybe add descriptions to each dish to clarify what is included and what the taste profile for each one is.

We ended up loving both things we ordered and we're looking forward to trying other items...

We took out a creamy Rose Pasta bowl and a House Marinara Pasta bowl. It was delicious and filling. We ordered and waited for probably less than 5 minutes and our whole order was done. We got the munch size and all together it was 40 dollars. Fantastic staff and very good food. Everyone should for sure check it out. (Also try the above pasta.) I definitely enjoyed...
