I ordered chicken lo mein and what they served me was literally just chicken, veggies, and SPAGHETTI. Not lo mein but SPAGHETTI. On top of all of that, there was 0 sauce in there. Zero. I really do not like giving bad reviews, especially of kosher restaurants when there are so few, but this was just disappointing. Especially since this cost $25 for chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice. Im just really disappointed. The people that worked there seemed super nice too, so I really am sorry to write this review.

Best kosher Chinese I’ve had anywhere in the world. Perfect every time. Have had their noodle dishes too and they’re amazing. Really like the Chinese vegetable soup also. If there’s one area for improvement it would be the rice. Sometimes it feels just a little underdone. So more consistency with rice. Overall really really good place.

Ordered the Udon with chicken noodle and the Lo Mein with beef noodle. Both were terrible! The Udon noodles were overcooked and gummy, basic with just carrots and onions. The Lo Mein was not cooked and coarse in texture, dry, and mostly noodles. $30 wasted, never again!

I’ve been to this restaurant several times seeing that it is in the area of our family owned business black & white look optical and had a great experience each time! But today was the worst experience yet I will never return and advise all the people I know not to return. The receptionist Paula is very nasty and rude and short and seeing that this business has no management it seems she feel as if she can do or say whatever to people. I don’t like to throw the race card out but the only issues she could’ve had with me is I was black! I called in to see if my order was ready she was very short & rude & then when I came in she was very confrontational.

Reply to owner response: I would definitely like someone in management name who I can speak with! I came in upset because I as I stated Paula was very rude over the phone when I called in to see if my online order was finished she stated “you have no order here!” Without even asking my name I said “yes I do” she continues to say no you don’t you just called and hung up! I replied “no I did not you don’t even know my name yet slow down” I tell her my name she says oh yeah you have an order & hangs up in my face! Once in the store I ask for a manger. Paula states very confrontational what’s the issue just take your food! I asked for a manger again she says we have no manger here! I said oh wow well can I speak to owner, she replies they are never here what do you want your food is ready! I said can I please speak with someone else’s she walks back to the kitchen to the other employees and says who wants to talk to this girl she wants to complain which was very RUDE! A guy comes to the front with a grin on his face as if it’s a joke and I’m clearly upset! I explain what happened to him he basically just pushed it off! So I asked for a refund & to return the food because I was so discussed with the service I experienced he insisted on that I take the food for free I did and threw it away! I am honestly very upset with how this situation is being handled and will never even think...

The customer service is AWFUL. The gentleman at the front (older man wearing a yarmulke) was extremely rude. There were no other patrons, but I suspect they were busy (it was 1:15pm on Thursday). I walked in pleasantly and asked “hi, can I order inside or do I need to call”. I’ve driven by this place hundreds of times as I live around the corner and decided to try it. His agitation was apparent in his behavior. He aggressively moved his arms and said “yeah yeah come on I guess”. That was a bad way to start the interaction. A younger black male (maybe 18 or 19) came in behind me and he said “is he with you?” After I said no, he again hastily asked me what I wanted. I had no time to look at th menu. I simply said “I’ll pass” and I could hear the same curt, rude service being offered to the young man behind me. I never even got a chance to see if the food was good because I refuse to spend one penny where I am not respected. I was extremely polite and would’ve been okay with saying they only offer pickup in the lobby. He was RUDE and should not be the first person you encounter...

Every time I order from this place I am greeted by angry, disgruntled faces. If I ask a question, I am snapped at. It almost seems as if they don't WANT to be in the restaurant business because the busier they are, the more upset they are (counter-intuitive?). When I use the proper channels (place online ordering, look up hours on their website), it never works and I am barked at and told I need to be patient (I once was scolded because I "should not assume my food would be ready at the time I selected online. That's just an automatic software they have no control over"). For a family owned business that strives to build community, I've received nothing but ice cold communication and service. For mediocre, overpriced Chinese food, I'd at least expect the service to be exceptional. I would not...
