Ordered through doordash, but called the restaurant personally after what was delivered was nothing at all like what I ordered.
For starters, I asked for No Cheese. Sacrilege I know, but MY preference, and an option clearly labeled and offered in the "BYO Pizza" menu. The manager/owner reported to me that this selection did not come through on his end. Fine. I can take that up with doordash I suppose.
But to lie to me, to excuse that the toppings are "under the cheese" (which I asked NOT for!) when I've spent the last 15mins peeling the cheese off to try to salvage my flat soggy garlic bread dinner. There were FOUR (4) tiny diced chunks of red onion. Maybe two little pieces of garlic. NO cilantro. I picked the handful of brisket off to eat some protein (pictured here, as well as 2/4 of my red onions). These are all toppings that you pay separately for. They mixed up the sauces on top and likewise messed up the one other pizza on the order.
Save your money ($15-20+ per person! for 9 diameter inches of disappointment!) and go literally anywhere else. Green Lantern is better than this. I'm eating leftovers tonight.
How can you fix this? By getting it together. By paying attention. This would be objectively fantastic pizza (crispy crust! DELICIOUS brisket I wish I could have had more than a crumb of! great selection of sauces and customization!), but not this location, and...
Read moreI tried to order online and the system wasn't working. Then I attempted to use a 3rd party site but there was a $3 price difference. So, I tried calling in after the lengthy hold the person came to the phone I say I want to place an order he pretends to not be able to hear me and hangs up. I call again but now from a different number a young lady says yes please hold but never comes back. I go in..... I stand and wait... wait... wait... and wait some more. The young lady behind the counter working stacked the same boxes 10x to avoid helping and the young man in the blue shirt peeped around and left me... The 2 in the photo worked on the register never acknowledged me. Finally after the guy in the blue shirt finished his text he said " You picking up?" No Sir. I would like to place and order his shoulders slumped at the thought of having to enter an order.... sooooo. I just left online my order totaled about $170 if the owners are ok with any amount of money walking out the door or people still supporting because it's a black business or the name drops that go along with it go for it. Is the food good at the downtown location yes...so I imagine this one as well but it starts with the service and if the service sucks the food probably will too. We have to do better and turn that music down!! All the best try it...

I called because we placed an order at 7:07pm that said it would be ready at 7:27pm.
My partner got there, signed for the prepaid order, and was told it would be right up. Almost an hour later, the food was still not prepared.
EIGHT people were served before him that paid in cash.
When I called to understand what happened, because my partner saw that others were refunded due to incorrect orders and/or other issues, I was met with, “ YOU NEED TO COME IN, WE NOT ACCEPTING ORDERS OVER THE PHONE.” Very unprofessional and Terri le customer service.
We are an EXTREMELY understanding couple and have been to this location before. This is not the first time we had an issue, but again, we don’t make mountains out of mole hills.
My issue is that I was cut off and berated over the phone for trying to understand why others were served before us.
The man over the phone claimed to be a manager and he is a TERRIBLE representation of the company.
