This place is awful. I went here on Friday night for a first time dine in experience and the service that I received was despicable. My friend recommended the place as she had frequented the establishment before and raved of the pepper steak and shrimp fried rice. When we arrived the register area was packed with about 4-5 patrons waiting to pick up, place orders etc. A lady finally appeared from the back after about 5 mins and asked if we wanted to dine in. She final told us we could sit where we liked so we chose a table and sat down. Another party of four came in right behind us and was seated immediately. The waitress approached our table took our drink orders and then went to the other table took their drink and food orders. She then returned to the table that arrived after my table with their drinks, then came over to my table to bring my friends beverage and began to take orders although she sees no beverage in front of me not even a courtesy water to start and took my friends order. When it was my turn to order I immediately told her that I wanted to cancel my drink order which was a simple fountain drink and the waitress rudely stated," ok then fine". Not, I'm sorry for the inconvenience or I apologize I will get you one now. Of all things she asked for the menu instead of trying to rectify the problem.Nothing but total and utter disrespect toward someone who is a first time patron to your establishment. Needless to say that I didn't get a chance to taste that pepper steak and shrimp fried rice but my respect is most important to me and if you can't respect me then you surely don't deserve my hard earned dollar.

I recently moved to Oak Park and decided to try this place since I live right down the road from Wing's Gardens.

My first time EVER ordering takeout was on a memorial day weekend and they were busy. A woman answered the phone and immediately put me on hold and told me to "HOLD ON!" for 10 mins. I waited and waited on the line. The only reason I stayed on the line was to tell them how awful their customer service is and I hung up.

A couple of weeks later, I try them again and order take out. They actually answered and didn't put me on hold this time. I went to go pick up my food and when I walk into the restaurant for the first time I was presented an outdated, dirty looking dining room that was super dark and smelled weird. The SAME woman greets me and asks what was my order.....She then tells me to "HOLD ON!". She walks in the back and starts talking to people in the back for the next 3 mins and then comes back up front and seats 2 families and takes 3 more phone orders while my food is sitting next to the register.

So its been 8 mins now and she continues to ignore me for other customers that came in after me and takes more calls. She then finds the time to cash out my order and allow me to take my food and leave.

Long story short. The restaurant is dirty and outdated. I felt nervous eating from a place as dirty as this place. And the customer service is just awful. I will not return to this place. Thank you Wind's Garden you've lost a new Oak Park Resident by giving me two bad experiences in a row. I will go to Hong Kong 1 down the road instead, which offered a better and a quicker experience with...
