El Toro Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

Great new spot, especially if you live on the west side of town. Our food was delicious, had a little more of a tex-mex flavor than all of our other standard issue Mexican joints.

They are still working on signage, but inside the place is fully updated to their style. Lots of booths available on our visit, friendly staff awaited. They also have a huge bar and a small stage in one dining room, hoping to hear about some live music in the future!?

The food here was great, especially the guacamole molcajete! Everything was fresh, delicious and the restaurant was really clean. One previous commenter said the food was greasy but that wasn’t the case for us at all. In fact we’ve eaten at many Mexican restaurant in Oak Ridge and this one is one of the better ones. The only problem is the four oaks center located right next to them, they won’t let them use any of the parking spaces next to their restaurant which is completely ridiculous because that shopping center is completely dead and could use the business from...

We had a family takeout on August 23 and everything was terrific.The corn tortillas were very good and a positive addition to the meal. We had two servings of the Burrito Banderas, beef tips with red, cheese, and green salsa, rice and refried beans, with lettuce and tomato added. Yummy! Another had Chile Verde,, grilled steak with tomatillo sauce, refried beans and sour cream.The kids had enchiladas and tacos, Great cheese sauce. Pickup was ready as promised.
