Millborne Bakery — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

What a great find in Oak Ridge! My wife and I were headed to J&M Butcher this past Saturday, when we noticed some people coming out of Millborne Bakery, so we decided to go inside and see what they had to offer.

As you walk inside the bakery, you are immediately met with great smells from all of their delicious baked good. The owner and staff were all super nice and patient and explained their weekly menu.

Since we got there a bit later in the morning on Saturday, they only had a few things left in the case, but everything we tried was absolutely delicious!! We bought two cinnamon buns, two coconut and chocolate cookies and a split dozen of chocolate chip and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Wow....it was all delicious!!! My only complaint was that they ran out of pecan rolls b/c the lady in front of us got the last two and they looked amazing!!

We would highly recommend Millborne Bakery to anyone...

I have been meaning to try this bakery for awhile now, but my schedule never seems to align with their hours. I was so excited to see my church serving their cupcakes this morning! I just had my lemon cupcake, and my oh my it was delightful! Lemon can be hit or miss, but this was a HIT for me! Light and fluffy, just enough lemon flavor, and I kept getting hints of tiny white chocolate chunks, maybe? Now I’m more anxious to get by the store and see what other delicious...

I was lucky enough to pass by Millborne Bakery when they happened to be open late and snagged an afternoon cookie and a 4-pack of the most delicious cinnamon rolls I've ever had! They had a praline caramel sauce/icing all over the top that is to die for. They tasted best that first day but still tasted pretty good for a few days after as I ate them one by one. Excellent!!
