Jade 88 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Oakdale

While I can not argue that our food was not good , we unfortunately had the horrific experience of finding glass in the white rice . Thankfully no injuries were had however as you can imagine it deferred our appetite and we were not able to finish our meal which was over $100. When I tried to call to resolve this issue they were close and I was unable to leave a message . Hoping that we will be able to reach them tomorrow and have this resolved .

Was able to call today and spoke with Becky. When I told her about the glass in our rice she became very rude and only offered a 12 dollar gift card. After a lengthy conversation she finally told me I needed to bring the glass in so she could see. I gladly made the 15 minute trip and even brought the rice. She was nothing but unhelpful and wanted to do nothing but blame me . Several times she stated "this is ridiculous!" She even said I was never allowed to call or ever return to their restaurant. I left feeling defeated and quiet offended. I hope others do not have to...

Owner operated, genuine good people. Honest, kind and grateful. I always order my food via phone and pick it up. The food is always made to order and hot when I get home to my family with it. Their suchwan beef is very good, I often order the chicken egg foo young and house vegatable Chow mein, I put the egg Foo young on top of the vegatable Chow mein with-out the crispy noodles and it taste great together. I even enjoy eating this for lunch cold at work. So much better than a cold sandwich. I have been eating there food at least once a month for 2 years now and The quality of there food has not disappointed me ever. These folks appreciate your business and clearly have a passion for serving very good Chinese food at a reasonable price. Freshest ingredients used. I have never been able to taste fresh ingredients like that before in Chinese Food. Prices a little high however portions are bigger. If you can agree on an dish two people could easily share. Our daycare lady and her family have been coming here for years and her seven year old grandson is on a first name basis with the owners. We arrived around 5 on a Friday night the sit-down dinner crowd hadn't arrived yet but the phone was ringing off the hook for takeout orders. Definitely on our list of places to return to. The other thing that I totally loved was the fact that I didn't get sick afterwards due to either way to much grease or food being way over cooked. Staff very friendly next time I will try the lunch buffet. The waitress told me that it is a great way to try everything that is offered....
