After several unsuccessful attempts, I finally managed to snag a box of these much-talked-about baked goods. While I was excited to try them, most of the flavors didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The standout was the Plum & Oat Frangipane Pinwheel, absolutely delightful and, IMO, worth the price of admission on its own. Unfortunately, the rest felt underwhelming. I could tell the ingredients were high quality, but the flavors didn’t land, and a few items even had a faint “refrigerator” taste that was distracting. The chocolate chip cookies were my biggest disappointment. $19 for four large cookies felt steep, especially given they were hard and fairly unremarkable. I respect the craft of baking and know the care it takes to produce pastries like these, but I personally didn’t walk away feeling the “wow” I had hoped for. Maybe it was an off day, or maybe my expectations were set too high from all the buzz. Would I tell someone not to try it? No, taste is subjective, and you might love it. But for me, it wasn’t worth the hype, the price, or the trek. Overall: a mix of appreciation for the effort but a “meh” on the experience.

Local dmall batch homemade patisserie/bakery. There is no storefront. They sell out of their basement and have a website and they sell out very quickly during open bakesales (warning lines super long). Best to order on special pre-order days.

Unfortunately I am very dissapointed with my order. The almond olive oil cake didnt taste very fresh and the syrup that the fruit was stewed in was way too sweet and over powering. The frosting also was almost melted completely by the time I got home which was less than thirty minute drive from the bakery. My friend also got one of the bakery boxes and this was also disappointing and lack luster. The items all didn’t taste very fresh and had a fridge type taste and made me wonder if they were made the day before. Out of the box the chocolate croissant was the only thing I enjoyed and the biggest disappointment was the order of chocolate chip cookies. I’ve had way better cookies, they didn’t have any butter flavor and the chocolate was pretty sweet and only thing I tasted. I think tik tok hyped this place up pretty good and the drop type ordering makes you think it’s exclusive and with that exclusivity and price it will be amazing….. But all of it was just average at best. Oh and the line for pickup is a bit ridiculous considering the line to just get her pastries day of was...

I ordered one of her monthly boxes during the most recent drop. I shared the treats with my friend and both of us weren't quite sure what to expect. I remember reading reviews where everyone seemed to say how these were the best pastries they've ever had in their lives. I was skeptical that that was true! Like realllyyyy?? 😒 The BEST? 😒😒. OKAYYYY 🙄. But when I got the box home and opened it up and my friend and I tried each one, we were like OH MY!! These ARE very delicious!! I asked my friend what his rating was, and he said 8/10. I asked why not higher? He said "because I don't give out 10's! But I can't name even one thing that could be better!" I told him that means it is a 10, nerd! LOL. We both gave 10/10. I will have to join the group of people who say these are the best pastries I've ever had in my whole life. My friend said he really enjoyed the complexity of flavors. Soooooo delicious. I will definitely be ordering again!! Thank you for these...
